This game is so good I've bought it 3 times. First on the xbox to play with my friends on their, 2nd on here and then the goty edition to get the extra dlc (cheaper than buying the season pass + mechromancer + psycho).

It's a loot grabbing, humourous, exploding, shooting, corroding, exploding whale of a time. The amount of guns, grenade mods, shield mods etc.. is amazing and some of the legendary weapons have the most fantastic animations. My favourite at the moment has to be the quasar grenade which sucks enemies in then frazzles them with electricity. The different weapons companies are very distinct, my personal favourites are Maliwan for melting enemies with the elemental effects and Torgue for the Explosions!!

It's almost as good playing on your own as with friends the loot is slightly less good but you get a more sedate experience being able to fully explore the map and find those all important loot chests. Playing with randoms is a blast too but you need to know your way around as there'll be mad dashes for all the loot and you'll be left with the dregs if you don't know where that loot chest is.

All in all one of my favourite games of this generation, I loved borderlands 1 but this improves on it in every way.
