don't bother if you're brand new, dedicate your time to a game that'll actually be relevant in a months time.
numbers are dwindling because developers are moving on and creating a different game rather than bothering to update this game.
one of the most toxic communities out there, no skill-based matchmaking either so everybody will be 20x better than you for the first 200 hours, and the skill ceiling is really high.
