Short, but captivating story heavily inspired by moomin episodes. Takes around 4-6 hours to play through. Add couple of hours for 100%.

Unique gameplay mechanics combined with thought provoking and emotional story make this game stand out as one of a kind. The environments you travel through as the two brothers are nicely constructed and rich in detail. The physics of the environmental objects, such as ice blocks moving in water, stand out nicely. The variety of movements achieved with just four buttons puts the creativity of the developers in full display. The achievements are really fun to do and fairly easy to gather even without a guide.

The direction of the story really stood out for me. Before playing, I expected Brothers to be your usual happy, vibrant game with a bland story, where nothing can go wrong for the main characters. After finishing, I can say that I'm happy to be proven wrong. The level of maturity is astonishing, and most definitely my favorite part of the game.

Overall, great game. The story and the environments are the stars of the show throughout. Clearing the bases gets repetitive after a while which is a common problem in these types of games. Also knowing where you can get the best weapons and picking them up kinda ruins the fun if you decide to go that route. The 'hardcore' mode seems like a lot of fun, but knowing that you can glitch inside the ground or fall through the map and die out of nowhere makes me not want to invest a lot of time in to it. Hasn't happened to me personally, but seems to be a common problem for some. Also turning the hud almost completely off makes the immersion much better. Strong recommendation.

Best skateboarding game I've played.

The unique control scheme adds a nice touch of difficulty and authenticity to the movement which is often lacking in other games. The sound design is amazing and the environments feel natural. Big up for that.

The customizability of everything from the physics of the board to the griptape of your liking is a big plus. A lot of the settings that add to the realism were turned off for some reason, so look through the settings is recommended.

You can tell that the game is in early stages of development from the bugs and the overall state of the game. The missions and especially the mission HUDs could use work. The graphics on the mission boxes take away from the quality of the game. IMO the game was a better package as a simulator before the missions were added, though that could change with updates to the mission system. Also, the third person camera has a weird wonky orbit which it moves through. Minus points for that.

Overall great skating simulator with authentic feel and unique mechanics. Missions aside well made package for new and experienced players who want a challenge. 8/10.

Girlfriend has enjoyed this a lot. The game feels really easy for experienced player, but is well balanced for newcomers. Personally got bored while playing due to the easy difficulty, but experience might differ person to person.

Had tons of fun playing this co-op. Surprisingly haven't found any bugs yet. 9/10 when played together.

There can be a bug with not getting the Reducto spell even after learning it in class. As far as I know there is no way of getting it after, essentially ruining the save by causing you to not be able to progress in the story. You'll learn the spell around 20-25% in. If the games doesn't bug out, it's really fun time. If it does, well, gg go next.
