I get what this game was aiming for, but honestly it did not land for me. My biggest gripe with the game is the portrayal of Saya as a character (in particular her childlike appearance) which just made me uncomfortable throughout the whole story.

The plot had some strong elements, but I felt the game leaned too heavily on shock value and gore to keep things engaging. Instead of heightening the narrative, the constant extremity made it harder for me to stay immersed. The “true ending” was easily the strongest part of the game, though by the time I reached the final ending, I was too worn out by the experience to finish it.

Overall, I’d say it was a decent narrative experiment, but definitely one aimed at players who enjoy strange, disturbing, and intentionally uncomfortable stories. If that’s something you enjoy, this visual novel might resonate with you more than it did with me.

Really fun game, hope the developer adds co-op in the future.
