tons of fun builds, weapons and items, fun bosses and minis and great art style.
the devs clearly love this game as they are planning a DLC that doubles the amount of worlds and bosses along with adding two new weapons and dogs as pets
AND there is a community event to get ember cats as well since so many people asked for it, showing the devs listen and support.

honestly? not a single negative to this game, 100/10 and you're straight up just missing out if you're not playing

This game is not a roguelike, it's a platformer/metroidvainia whose only roguelike quality is the mildly changing map. Talent points are lackluster, the medallions are boring, the weapons don't matter or really play much different and there is no making a build so far. The loot is so random you can go an entire area without seeing a medallion but upgrading your weapon 8 times.

honestly if you played The Lost Crown then you don't need to play this, this is like a light version of that game

So let's start out by saying I actually love this game. It's a ton of fun to play with my SO and alone, the art and music are great, the weapons are pretty dope, the builds are fun

that being said I have to for now give it a thumbs down because 50% of the time, if not more, when me and my SO get to the bridge level they lag out and we have to kill the party and continue solo. once this issue is fixed then i'm happy to change my review
