This is a fun little game in exactly the same vein as the old flash game Motherload (so close you could almost call it a clone). The addition of lifts and the grapple hook is kinda cool, those are the things that set it apart (you can't fly like in Motherload).

I wish you could go deeper! But it's good for a few hours.

My major gripe is the falling rocks around the lift can be kinda annoying. If you catch the edge of a rock trying to board the lift, it kills you (even though it didn't really fall on you). Other than that, it's a basic but solid game.

This game has been in development forever and it's still kinda clunky. IMO it is the best space sandbox game at the moment, but I can't help thinking there is a lot of unrealized potential in the multiplayer. The UI/UX is very clunky, and by default you still need to use your mouse hand to rotate blocks (what a god awful design decision that has persisted). Default servers have a very low 16 player limit (and still have lots of lag). I wish they would take some hints and design decisions from other games, like Interstellar Rift, Garry's Mod, Satisfactory, and Factorio- I believe Space Engineers could be much better and much more fun.

Hands down best building game of all time. The game is easy to understand but hard to master. Don't forget to live the rest of your life while playing this game.

I was hesitant about the switch to the Unreal engine but it honestly seems alright, good even. The devs are still keeping the original Insurgency mojo going. I like the commander/observer addition - it makes things a little more interesting and seems to be well balanced.

Natural Selection is one of those older school team-focused, objective-focused skill based shooters that I really enjoy. It has held up amazingly well over the years and still nothing else delivers quite the same feeling.

Also it's fun to play aliens and eat people.

A mixed bag. The combat/sneak sections against other soldiers are pretty generic and uninteresting to me as an FPS veteran, just filler to sell to a wide audience. There's nothing new there. The game really shines during the atmospheric adventure bits; wandering through the dark caves and fighting across the surface, charging your battery, switching masks, conserving ammo, and the experience of being alone in a hostile world was thrilling. I wish the whole game was based around that.
