This is a game where you will fail miserably, but it will be fun to do so. And the next time you will fail miserably in another way. And the time after that, too. But after a while you will start to improve and see yourself live longer. Maybe nog long enough to find the way out of the world you're trapped in, but longer than your previous attempt. You will be starving, hurt, insane or all of the above, but you will learn.

The artwork is gorgeous, the inhabitants of the gameworld are original and funny and the available characters will steal your heart. For example, when it's dark, Webber the spider wants his nightlight. Lumberjack Woodie has an axe named Lucy who is afraid he'll leave her behind when dropped. Robotic WX-78 doesn't like rain, little Wendy is haunted by her twin sister and ms. Wickerbottom has the power of self-publishing.

The only thing that doesn't seem happen very often is, well, starving. But I guess "Don't get your camp smashed by a Deerclops or get trampled by Beefalo's, shot at by Eyeplants, hit by a Treeguard or robbed by Frogs. And don't get hit by a blowdart coming from MacTusk, chased by Killer Bees, haunted by Crawling Horrors and Terrorbeaks and let's just not mention Charlie" would be a bit long. So don't starve.
