This is the most fun I've had with a racing game in the last ten years at least, that why I must say the following:

The game has serious visibility issues, while the filters are great at accomplishing a certain vibe, I feel they are excesive and should be optional, when going at high speeds it's really hard to see traffic at a distance or properly judge which lane they're in.
Also, barriers that indicate where you should go in a race are barely visible, which paired with poor gps and checkpoint navigation (the arrow is barely useful) makes where to go somewhat confusing.
I think some of this could be fixed by making barriers similar to the ones in old nfs games like U2, traffic lights could be brighter, film grain could be toned down.
Theres a lot of time wasted by UI and unskippable scenes/dialogue, this ultimately makes the game feel clunky/tedious, I'm specially bothered by customization UI, the black screens between categories, having to go around the car, going back and forth from the store, I'd much rather have a simple list where I can access every option, as well as being able to see every category in the store at once.
