"A test of your Friendship!"

This game is just so GREAT and I LOVE IT VERY MUCH!!
Even since before the release I saw the characters design is just so lovely, since then I watch the developer update each month with high-spirit anticipated what the game will look like.
I was afraid gonna be disappointed by the game play, but no, the game is also fun to play.

From all the Dragon Age game I have played, this the most non-Dragon Age I felt when I played it.

NO GLOOM DOOM DARK VIBE
Lack vibe of the darkness the feeling that I play Dragon Age esp Origins, the darkness vibe is real. Veilguard, even though the Blight disaster happens around, somehow I still don't feel the gloom, doom, or the darkness there is still cheery vibe I can sense. Just compare the Ogre design across all the Dragon Age games.

CHARACTER DESIGN IS THE WORST
What I HATE MOST is the character design. The character is minified (chibi-like) I cannot distinguish whether the character is a dwarf or a human, just look at Lucanis, he is human but so short almost like a dwarf.
Why is there no super good looking companion? Is making a character that is Beautiful, Pretty or Handsome a sin now? I don't even want to romance any of the Companion.

STORYLINE
A whole main story wise is ok, not great, just ok.
I like the hard choice that will impact the future like saving Treviso or Minrathous, or who will I sacrifice from my Companion.
We can choose the ending of companion quest line was also a good touch.
The Strength power for each house that will affect the outcome for the final quest is also good things.
Why I cannot use my DragonAgeKeep Story or my saved game from Dragon Age games before? Where is that option?

BAD CONVERSATION DIALOGUE
Whoever wrote/direct the conversation dialogue need to be fired. They should have known that all of these characters here are an ADULT, keep in mind how adult react to each other, most of time it feels like my character is talking to a TODDLER.
And no matter how rude you are to your companion they will never hate you that can cause them leave your party.

COMPANION LEVEL AND RELATIONSHIP
they should have keep LEVEL and RELATIONSHIP separate just like the Dragon Age games before.
Veilguard make the Relationship as a level for our companion, and I hate that.

WORST HELM DESIGN
Why all helm design covering the face and hair? There is not even a single helm that showing your face and hair. Is this skill issue within the developer that they cannot make my character with the hair I choose and put a hat on it? WTF.

Whats with Taash whole questline? it's just woke things shoving down my throat.

My Overall conclusion:
When I played this game, I didn't feel hooked by it. I want to quickly finish the game because I hate it so much I just want to end my suffering, since I already bought it anyway.
One playthrough is enough, I finished it, uninstall it and will never play it again.

When I played this on GBA, I immediately hooked by the unique game play I never found like this.
I also did finished it on PSP. Now I purchase this for PC, also bought it for some of my friends as a gift.
Now the BIG QUESTION is when will we get Blaze Union and Gloria Union English Version ?

A new kind of mode across Digimon game.
I like the stories, having many endings and different characters who survive.
If you are looking for battle experience, this is not your game.

SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS!!!

This game bringing the classic vibe of JRPG, but with more graphic.
The character is 2D sprites just like old classic game but the environment is really good, like the river, the waves, the snow, etc is so smooth and enjoyable view.
The music is also great (how do SE always create a fine music for games ).
The story is awesome, simple enough but good. I cannot found the connection of each character stories until I finished the optional final boss. It's like wow, everything is connected.
Surely recommended and will replay this game in the future if I had enough free time.

Oh god, this is the game that made me love RPG so much. This version of Final Fantasy is the best IMO. Most people would say FF VII is the best, but for me IX is the best. I really like the caharacter design and the story is understandable by one playthrough (I had hard times to understand FF XIII story).
AND THE MUSIC!! oh my god, I just love every music in this game, even until now I still had FF IX OST in my playlist.
Thanks for bringing FF IX available on PC.

This game is so beautiful, I'm glad that the battle system is back to normal not like FF XII. Lightning is so cool, I Love her.
One thing is why I can't play with English audio? I want to play with English audio rather than Japanese, because I don't speak japanese.
