this game is a wonderful experience if you enjoy tough combat and parrying. the shell mechanics allow for multiple different play styles, and there are shells everywhere. the secrets feel rewarding, and the references are funny but not shoved down your throat. really does something unique with the genre, and the movement is seriously fun once you get it down. shell insurance is definitely worth it once you find a preferred shell. (also, shells bought in upper new carcinia come with insurance!)

its not uncommon to find weird glitches or hitbox interactions, but they are usually non-invasive. the level of polish this game has despite being from a smaller studio is great.

I PLAYED NEON WHITE AND BASICALLY IT WAS A 65,000 YEAR LONG RAVE IN 10 HOURS AND I OVERDOSED A THOUSAND TIMES A SECOND UNTIL I COLLAPSED INTO A TESSERACT AND GOT MY ASS EATEN OUT IN THE 4TH DIMENSION
