The Finals Playtests: Amazing, good game that felt great with a lot of depth. Fresh and fast paced combat.

The Finals at Launch: Mediocre, all classes feel like they are wearing cinderblock shoes, every class received a nerf except the heavy build. Combined with the super slow movement and respawn times the game now plays like ♥♥♥♥.

Fix the movement Embark, revert it back to how it was.

Destiny 2's problems from a Destiny 1 player:

- FOMO central, Bungie develops content that they know will be removed in a years time. You pay for the opportunity to earn the pass rewards, rather than them being able to be unlocked at any time on your own accord.
- Lack of solid cohesive narrative, Lightfall is the biggest example.
- The cast of characters don't talk like normal people, they deliver MCU one liners in most expansions. A cast refresh is needed.
- Enemies are always reskins, rather than new types (Lucient Hive being an exception)
- Current fanbase encourages current egregious monetisation practices as they are content with receiving 1 raid, 1 strike, no new pvp/gambit content, etc each year.
- No casual party modes like sparrow racing, horde hive survival, etc. Its all grind grind grind.
- Event passes are monetized, DLC's are monetized, cosmetics are monetized, dungeons are monetized, season passes are monetized, DLC's can be removed to make space for the game engine
- Bungie doesnt want to develop content that will be in the game long term, they want it to be played for 3 months before the next season drops.

TL:DR - If support stopped after The Final Shape this game would die, as it is a service. Not an actual game. This was the same as Destiny 1, and the way Destiny 2 has been going, it will have the same outcome.

Good game for its current price.Hopefully it gets long term support. Here's some unbiased pros and cons:
Pros
- No battle pass, item store, or lootboxes.
- Lots of camos and attachments to unlock
- Classes have different guns and health values (Support are more tanky, recon is easy to kill, etc)
- Good selection of maps
- Proximity chat, squad chat, and team chat
- Map voting
- Prestige system
- Can build fortifications, similar to BFV (Nobody really uses them lmao)

Cons
- Certain maps are too large and some are designed better than others
- Not all modes are implemented, the only ones people play are conquest, rush, etc. so it gets boring after awhile
- Guns and attachments take too long to unlock, especially for a game that's supposed to be an arcade shooter
- Section of player base thinks guns with high fire rate are op and should be nerfed to the ground or removed lol
- XP gains are ridiculously long, lack of 2xp events in game (Weekends, events, etc)
- Clans have been temporarily removed
- Lack of true mastery camos (Gold, etc)

Good game, combat is different from the Ultimate Ninja Storm games. If you enjoy Naruto/Boruto, and you like 4v4 PVP and PVE games, Id recommend this. Quite heavy on DLC though, so make sure if you get it you at least pick up the Deluxe Edition.

Crazy ass game, has a talking banana. 10/10 would play again just for the banana

PUBG used to be a great game, now its just trash. certain region servers are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and they'd rather monetize the game with keys and skins than actually update it with new guns and cars and keep the game fresh lmao.
