Great game overall, there's a few bugs here and there but the developer is working hard on fixing them which is lovely to see! Sounds like the developer team is one person fixing these things by themselves, that in itself is impressive to see their dedication! :)

The game itself is a really nice upgrade from the first one, which I also enjoyed a ton to play, lots of things just feels better in this game compared to the first game. Can't wait to put even more hours into this game in the future as there's plans for new missions and even some special seasonal missions/events.

8/10 would steal again.

The game contains pay2win elements as in you can buy more souls to improve your permanent stats.
Not a great path to choose for a game like this.

Edit: Removed the statement about hitboxes being too large, this has been fixed.

Such a great game, just can't give this game a positive review in its current state.
The game crashes way too frequently, the fact that I'm forced to play in DX11 and windowed mode to avoid crashes is just dumb.
Just last night I experienced a crash right when we killed the last mob in an expedition and I missed out on both the loot and the drop pod resources, this crash really didn't help with my already horrible experience in this game.

Might return whenever they actually push out updates.

Performance is decent, could be way better, especially in the towns/hubs.
Servers are completely garbage, it's now almost 2 weeks after release and they still suffer with inventory wipes, people can't join co-op and the ones that actually connect to each other experience latency issues. (Myself included on the last one)

if they get to fix the massive amount of random crashes, this game is a no brainer if you like looter shooters, but for now the game is in a horrible state.

They should honestly have delayed this game 6 months minimum to work out all these game breaking quirks that a lot of people seem to experience.

As someone who has dedicated over 10,000+ hours to RuneScape, I can't help but feel deeply saddened by the recent direction the game has taken. Once upon a time, RuneScape was a shining beacon in the world of MMORPGs, a game that prided itself on its rich lore, captivating quests, and regular content updates that kept players engaged for years. However, my once-beloved game has taken a disastrous turn, leaving me with no choice but to express my profound disappointment.

The recent introduction of the Necromancy skill was met with enthusiasm from the player base, offering a fresh and exciting addition to the game. It seemed as if RuneScape was gearing up for a revitalization, but little did we know that this was the calm before the storm.

The Hero Pass, a seemingly innocent addition at first glance, turned out to be the final nail in the coffin for many loyal RuneScape players. Instead of providing engaging and meaningful content, the Hero Pass introduced microtransactions (MTX) to the game, effectively replacing the daily challenges that used to be a core part of the RuneScape experience.

This change not only shattered the immersion but also completely destroyed the sense of accomplishment that came from completing daily challenges. Instead of feeling like a true adventurer exploring the vast world of Gielinor, RuneScape now feels like a shameless cash grab. It's disheartening to see a once-beloved game succumb to the temptation of squeezing every last dollar out of its player base.

The microtransactions embedded in the Hero Pass are not only intrusive but also give players who are willing to spend more money an unfair advantage, undermining the core principle of fair gameplay that RuneScape was built upon. It's frustrating to witness the game favoring those with deep pockets over dedicated players who have invested years of time and effort into their characters.

Furthermore, the Hero Pass has overshadowed any positive aspects of the Necromancy skill, leaving players feeling like they were baited into embracing something that ultimately turned out to be detrimental to the overall gaming experience.

In conclusion, Jagex's decision to introduce the Hero Pass and its accompanying microtransactions has driven a wedge between the game and its once-loyal player base. What was once a thriving and immersive world has been tainted by greed, and the trust that many players had in the game's developers has been irrevocably shattered. Until RuneScape reevaluates its approach to microtransactions and prioritizes the player experience once more, it's a game that I can no longer recommend or support, despite my 10,000+ hours of gameplay invested in it.

When you die you don't get frustrated, you just start a new game and GO AGANE.
10/10 best early access game I've ever spent money on.
