At this point? Frankly quite boring. I just spent an hour watching a CL chase a CA, both nuked each others engines and then missed for 25 mins straight, I just alt + f4ed. re-logged and auto resolved. Got a lot of work to do with this one...

Updating just under a year later.

The game is worse off now. Battles lag to ♥♥♥♥ with more than 50 ships (which happens fairly often) forcing you to autoresolve what should be fun battles.

Campaign UI is still stupid and clunky.

As I type this I am trying to load into a campaign and have been trying to do so for the past 30 minutes, in doing so it is about half way there. This "Feature" basically makes all 1930/40 campaign starts unplayable.

Game is going backwards...

Tried to get into a campaign (start a new one) so far I've waited about 20 minutes. This isn't just me either.

If you like ArmA, DayZ and Tarkov and are comfortable with a bit of horror this will be for you.

My 1 hour first impression:

Sniping is done worse here than in other similar shooters.
Encountered 1 bug forcing me to restart from scratch
Encountered 3 bugs forcing me to restart from last checkpoint
Shooting feels "eh" at best
Not realistic except for sniping ballistics
Stamina is poorly modeled (i.e your breath is only represented by a tiny obscure bar at the bottom, no audio representation.)

However positively this does allow you to shoot people at 1000m

And then repeat the same thing 3 times over because of game breaking bugs.

The game has been unbalanced, I haven't played in about a year and came back, it is no longer possible to win the starting missions on standard difficulty. I don't know what the ♥♥♥♥ changed, but the enemy gets twice the number of units I do...

To add, I found an old save, no issues at all winning every single battle by a land slide, yet my new campaign on easiest I can't win anything. I'm not sure what's going on but the balancing has been ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the ass since I last played. Unless you can get an old save off a friend I highly do not recommend.

Just isn't the same. The ICO seemed like a cool idea, but I've played it and I just don't like it.

There is a higher proportion of big maps to small maps, meaning a lot of open combat, lots more running, lots more winning quickly or losing quickly without fighting anyone. Just isn't the game I used to play.

My first 100 hours were bug ridden, CTD's time after time. I came back and started playing about 2 weeks ago. So, so much better, but still a long way to go.

Armour is about as useful as cutting your vegetables with paper. Children never grow up unless you let the game run for 6 hours and walk away. Elite troops cost 24 times as much as a tier 1 troop, but can be taken down by about 3 of them. Still no work shop.

But, it is now fun, for the most part. I do, now, recommend it, but wait for a sale.

Unfortunantly for me the mod has stopped working. While it did work, it was great. Since it doesn't work I can no longer recommend this mod. I will however point people in the direction the the Blitzkrieg Mod, which has yet to crash on me once.
