I watched my friend stream it for me and after a few minutes I bought, installed a copy, and demanded she invite me to her game. Then in my first session I was like 'hm, why is other friend whispering at me to move?' while I tried to pick up an object so I did as he said and apparently while I was like 'oh, buttons to push!' he was watching a tentacled horror slowly move towards me.

Also! I got sandwormed when I got lost trying to get back to the ship. I was like 'I'll orient myself here!' and then the rumbling started and my last words my friend heard right before we entered the death chat together was 'oh no!'

Another session my friend came racing in screaming to hit the launch button and I watched her get eaten in front of me while I cowered behind the computer. 'Boy that's a lot of blood'

Anyway, lots of fun. Very much enjoying it.

I love this series. I love McQueen. I love Dooley. I love the side characters. The flow hits the right level of actual challenge and 'I am not going to go insane trying to figure this out'.

Make sure to always click whoever you're with in every room you go to. It's worth it.

A great horror game with a properly unsettling ending. Voice acting and art were wonderful, and I enjoyed the musical parts. My only complaint is the sudden stack up of puzzles in the last leg of the game because it interrupted the flow/challenges that the story had been using up until then and didn't quite fit in with the rest of the narrative. But that would only be about 10% of the game and 90% solid game is great odds!

This game is super fun! The art is great, the writing is engaging, and a lot of genuine spooks! The bit at the very end at chapter 2 has me so eager for the next one.

I also enjoy how Teens is always capitalised, like the strange creatures they are.

Choose 'talks to animals' as a trait. You won't be disappointed.

Some of the puzzles made me want to punch a kitten, but the writing was tight and I enjoyed the nostalgia for a time of gaming I'd never been part of.

Lots and lots of walking and clicking and going but WHY at random pieces.

But also entertaining dialogue, a plot that's more or less coherent, and a satisfying conclusion.

Super involving, lots of fun. A little cartoon gory (example: elf literally exploded after my teammate hit it with an axe) but the universe backstory and the dialogue is so much fun.

The character creation system and the way you can play your character is pretty robust, so that's an extra plus. You can be any race and any sex, as well as any orientation you want.

Sadly, you cannot romance Sten. That is the biggest drawback to this game.
