Mostly play multiplayer and it's a great game. The recent additions to the royal court and other features have made the game more interesting.
Managing dynasties and working within the limits of the succession laws means paying attention to so many interesting components.

I've played a good number of board games in TTS and it works.
As I play around with making my own content, I think I like Vassal better. Mostly because it's not trying to simulate a 3D environment.
But each system for running board games over the internet has their own quirks.
TTS works and there is a good chunk of content for it.

Implements the board game quite well. I've seen some issues with Undo not working in every situation yet I'm enjoying it and looking forward to the addition of the moles and the corvids.
Mostly been playing single player and the high level AI is a good challenge.

At first I wasn't a huge fan of the new way to build wonders. I still think it penalizes players who are not carefully planning the kinds of wonders to build to strengthen their empire. I have found it make for interesting single player strategic decisions but for me Civ games are much more fun multiplayer

After playing a number of games now that PC and Mac crossplatform play are available, I have changed my opinion.

I have enjoyed the game multiplayer and I while I think the current wonder system isn't great for new players, I like the game well enough overall.

Enjoy the game both solo and playing with my family. Solid game and the expansions have brought new and interesting things.

Just got Apocalypse and this game got really intense. AI still could use some work but wars are much more interesting.

I played the non steam version of this for a long time and enjoyed it. The changes in the steam version mean I had to relearn how to play the game.
