I got the standalone when it came out, and enjoyed the first 100 hours until the game felt way too empty.

I came back to it recently and this game is completely different to how it was back then. Vanilla Chernarus servers are still a drag, and I was about done playing again when I switched to a modded community server. Since then I have been completely sucked into it, playing every day for many many hours.

This review is basically for people that played in the past but gave up on it. Give it another try!
