Played to max prior to the steam release.

This is probably the most fleshed out progression system in MMOs today. The wealth of content available in this game is astounding, but can also be daunting for a new player. Fortunately there's a huge wiki (runescape.wiki) to assist with any topics (can't recommend it enough).

I'm also not a big fan of the combat system, but switching to Revolution and using preset bars noted on the wiki makes it more manageable.

Version 2.0 update:
I can no longer recommend this game given the recent update. The devs bizarrely decided to mess with the fundamentals of the game (something no one asked for) and now the balance and feel of the combat is awful. I would avoid buying unless the majority of these changes are rolled back.

Solid l4d2 reskin. Worth buying on sale.

A terribly put together game with a multitude of bugs that manages to be more exciting than anything else I've played in recent memory, especially with friends. Imagine a buggier, faster-paced DayZ where the sole objective is killing everyone else.

The best attempt at a hardcore zombie survival game and best of all it's free. The only downside is trying to play with the people that only care about grabbing as many guns as possible
