Guns have no impact on enemies and progression in general is too much grinding boring looking areas.

The game has not worked for me for 5 days now.

Gameplay is very fun, but it is all very surface level.

None of the rogue lite progressions upgrades from the game are really any fun. If you liked the demo and can see yourself trying to perfect that loop on harder and harder difficulties then buy the game, but don't expect more than that.

At its core, the gameplay is fun. Each weapon in your arsenal is unique and movement is extremely tight. My issue is the design of the weapons. Each weapon has 1-3 alternate fire modes that are much more powerful than your standard left click shot. What this does for me is that it feels bad to just shoot your gun. There is always an alt-fire that needs to be cycled and selected to that is perfect for the situation you're in.

This would be fine if their system of cycling through weapons was good. How it works is that you need to swap to the gun you want then click another button to cycle to the alt fire you need. It doesn't sounds too bad, but when you are fighting multiple mob types that require swaps immediately, it just is not fun to juggle.

Playing this made me appreciate doom eternal more. That game also contains a huge arsenal with alt fires that need to be cycled through yet it is designed in a way that feels so much smoother to cycle through. Your left clicks also are not pathetic in doom eternal.

I think it's the most well designed and polished extraction shooter out right now. The game has a steep learning curve but it is so so rewarding.

Buy this game if you like boomer shooters.

Interesting story, tight gunplay, rewarding exploration that isn't obtuse, and insanely cheap.

Great visual and audio design along with a simple yet rewarding gameplay loop regarding your town.

The actual dungeon portion of the game is a bit bland, but the rest of the game makes up for it.

Tight, solid, juicy, gameplay.
