It's been almost 2 years after I started playing Dota 2. I wasn't really a Dota fan before Dota 2, even though my friends has been playing Dota since ver. 6.20 (or maybe before).
Long story short, this game is an amazing competitive game. Totally fair for all players, while winning and losing is determined by your ability to work with your temmates, not the money you spent on items like any other free to play online games.
