Seriously an underrated gem imo. It's a weird mix of mad max meets sonic the hedgehog in a way. The story is basically like the foil on a candy bar, just there, but the gameplay dance of death while trying to keep from colliding head on with a mother of 4's SUV is oddly satisfying.

I honestly believe if they went back to this type of gameplay, but really diversified and cleaned up a few things it'd be 10/10.

I'd probably simplify the melee combat and not have swords/blunt on two different tabs but on the same tab. I mean there's already so much you have to pay attention for that I don't really wanna be switching back and forth between the right melee mid turn. I'd keep swords/blades/blunt/long and have a variety of melee weapons each with differing set of stats, but only being able to bring one. I'd also allow players to customize their bikes to affect its stats instead of different bikes whos stat differences are pretty marginal at best. I'd maybe combine explosive into a new category called equipment and create some other utility or defensive items that can affect the race other than pure dps. This would bring the game down to a 3 inventory slots with guns staying as is.

I'd also add a ton of new mission types and have more varied track randomization because I honestly thought I was playing the same series of tracks the entire game.

Just a really fun, easy to learn game with a surprising amount of content to get through. Definitely recommend this if you're into these style of games.

I wish the game was longer, and I wish the movement was a bit more polished. It feels kinda off when you're running on walls and most of the time you're wallrunning off the top of the wall. The combat is solid and satisfying and the game keeps adding more and more enemies to strategize around, and the array of weaponry is satisfying if a little boring.

Overall the game is fun but short, and I think it was worth purchasing even though it was on a sale.

The game is actually pretty enjoyable for a number of reasons: First, the designs of the character and enemies are very Tim Burton leaning, and the graphics overall are quite good. Secondly, there's tons of collectibles to locate as well as lore bits/diaries that give insight onto the events unfolding; I found the lore bits to be well written. Thirdly, the game is quite optimized and I didn't experience a single bug/glitch/frame drop during my entire playthrough. Lastly, the gameplay is a bit simple, but it doesn't overstay it's welcome which makes the story all that better. I'd say the game is more narrative driven, but regardless of the simplistic gameplay I enjoyed it all.

The game is pretty good, but the pace of combat is very slow compared to similar games. There are a ton of weapons, but I feel like a fair bit of them felt kinda useless. I also felt the makers could have been more creative with alternative firing modes for some of the weapons. The enemy variety is also pretty mediocre and you'll find yourself killing the same 5 enemies for 99% of the game. The shining star in this game is the level design, graphics, gore, and the sheer amount of content with player made maps. Also, I really enjoyed hunting for all of the secrets; there were some really well hidden ones but overall I think they were reasonably placed!

It seems with the upcoming DLC, that the game is attempting to alleviate some of the issues I have so far and I'll be looking forward seeing to how things turn out.

Solid 7/10 game. Enjoyable in terms of visual design/character design and combat. Where it falls flat is the annoying enemy mechanics and placement as well as a rather dull world to tread through.

Bought the trilogy because people kept going on about how good the FEAR games were. Lol, lmfao even.

This game isn't the least bit scary, especially when you have confetti colored pop-ups every 10 seconds giving you good boy points to level up? for some reason. The gunplay is serviceable, but grenades are ♥♥♥♥ because either I'm bad at using them or my boy just launches them like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jet even with the slightest tap of 'G'. Most of the enemy types are either annoying, dull to fight, or just not scary whatsoever.

Also, did I forget to mention this is a co-op game? Yeah, not only can you play as point-man, but you can also play as Fettel. All he can do is possess other enemies and shoot foam dart blasts at people. It's basically just point-man with another step before you can actually kill ♥♥♥♥ properly.

So to sum everything up for you people with short attention spans:

-Not scary
-Boring
-Short
-The game probably has a felony or two

If I could give this a middling rating then I would.

The game is nothing special and doesn't really do anything new or creative. It feels like the skeleton of an amazing roguelike, but doesn't quite make it.
