To put it simply, it's the Age Of Mythology that you played in 2002, with modern graphics and much needed QOL improvements. It is worth it? A hundred percent YES!

I desperately wanted to love this game. I really wanted to. To me, this is one of the best combat systems ever made. However, the developers chose to soft-lock players by omitting important information about character stats development. So no matter how much I grind, no matter which strategy I choose, there is a point of the game in which I can't even do damage to a boss. And it's the first in a series of five boss battles. I had to give up. I hope the remastered version is not as punishing as this one

I thought that Arcanum was the only RPG that would give me a real sense of agency. I was wrong. Both games are a labour of love and not (just) a way to make money. Thank you Larian for keeping the Troika legacy alive!
