It's leetcode, but offline. No autocomplete/fmt options which is disappointing but overall would recommend!

This game is so far my favourite Japanese learning game on Steam, alongside Shashingo. So to Speak is a simple game from a design point of view; you progress through levels which are snapshots of different places in Japan which is meant to be you taking a trip through the country. In these levels, your task is to translate how to read signs, translate what people are saying, and so on.

As you progress through your journey, you build up a dictionary of words (made up of their written form, any Kanji, Romaji for the pronunciation, and the English meaning), starting with the very basics (i.e. "This is a car") and slowly building up more grammar as you go. Eventually you'll be translating more complex sentences, but the pacing is excellent meaning there aren't random "spikes" of difficulty.

The gameplay being simple is a blessing here; it gets out of the way, and lets you learn things by putting the Japanese first. The Japanese on offer here is a combination of casual and polite, and gives you a great variety to see how people _actually_ speak, which is something someone coming from a Genki 1/2 might struggle with. Combine that with relaxing music and cute pixel art, you have a game that will help put more formal Japanese learning into context, and help you move from just knowing vocab/grammar to _knowing how to use them_.

While there's a few quirks with the click + drag mechanic (sometimes it stops dragging/can't drag too far), overall this is a game that I am very much enjoying and would actively recommend to anyone looking to improve their Japanese.

I really love Isaac, and this DLC _is_ nice; but I can't get behind the massive shift in design philosophy to the point I'd recommend this to someone who's experienced with the game. The nerfe and changes to the core gameplay are a bit much.

This is actually awesome, and one of the better language learning games I've played. Would recommend to FPS players who want to learn a new language. The gameplay itself is fun; you essentially go around a big map and kill robots, solving obstacle courses answering questions based on colors, items, directions, etc to unlock new guns and get more health/ammo. The shooting leaves a little to be desired, and the robot count is a bit weird at times (too many, then too little), but the shooting is good enough to keep going.

Performance is alright, some random lag spikes, but overall a great experience.

Pizza Tower is by far the best platformer released in the 2020s, and stands among the greats of the genre such as SMB or Gunpoint. It's fast, fluid, sounds incredible, and looks amazing; if you're a fan of 90s Nick humour and Sonic, don't miss this one

This is in my top 5 games next to HL2 as exactly what games are all about. This short, relaxing game has a lot of replay value, and I am made better by having it in my life

This engine allows me to write 100% lua games. My absolute first choice for anything 2D these days, due to that, even if Godot technically has more features :)

Pretty cool! Never used a dock program before but this is easy to set up and looks really clean. It's made it a lot easier to group my most commonly used programs without needing to sacrifice my taskbar. Would recommend!
