This game has potential, but isn't quite there. The giblets don't leave blood splatters when colliding with objects, the corpses don't have physics, and it's missing a lot of the dynamic behavior that makes Viscera Cleanup Detail great. That said, the scanner tool is VASTLY superior to the sniffer, it lets you see exactly where the remaining mess is, even through walls. You can customize your color, though you're stuck as a guy in a suit. There is a shop for meta progression, but it's locked in the prologue. Being able to interact with the creature making the mess is a cool idea, but without the dynamic mess-making it's a little underwhelming at the moment.

The game is currently in development though, so I'm hopeful a bunch of this will get fixed. At the least, corpse physics is on the roadmap. So that's cool. Can't currently recommend the game though.

Really good pilot. Bit rough at points but the story is fantastic. Hope the rest of the show pans out well. :D

Tactical 2v2 turn-based ball game fun. There's a neat story going on, and the characters are loveable and beasts adorable. The gym leaders/captains can be a bit much, but that's fine enough. The real draw is how close you can get to your beasties. They have wants and fears and will emote to you as you wander both the overworld and in a match, and will even request you use moves you don't normally play with so they can flex their skills. It makes the game feel a lot more immersive and that these creatures have an actual personality, not just a set of stats where a worse one is to be shoved in a box. You're encouraged to keep the beasties you catch and train them up, learning what they like and how they interact with the other beasties. It's refreshing, and feels a lot more like one might imagine Pokemon to be if you'd only ever seen the anime and never played any of the games than the actual Pokemon games are.

A difficult lil' raid game with cute critters and a fun story. Also fun with friends! (And much harder depending on how good they are lol) 10/10

Tiny frog fished a huge whale out of a moderately sized bucket. Good game.

I really don't like mainline Pokemon games. They're boring and the typing being just a damage boost turns it into rock paper scissors. This game is much more interesting, the types causing different status changes and the music being affected by your actions in-game. Which the music is very, very good. The fights are also 2v2, giving a lot more nuance and complexity to battles just with that change. Plus the art is cute, and the shinies are both more common and actually useful, since they're different types entirely from the base creature.

Oh, and you can punch god in the face. 10/10

Not particularly long, but has a very good story. The gameplay can be a little finicky to do what you want since the item on the table tends to rotate around on its own, as well as everything being location-based. You have to click exactly where you want something to go or it doesn't work, which can be a little irritating at times. Otherwise it's quite fun to piece together the little puzzles, and the wiring sections in particular were quite nice to figure out. Voice acting and sound design is extremely good in particular, and it makes the story all the better for it.

Is like Stacklands, but free and a cooking simulator. Very cute, and has some nice automation options for midgame. Almost got through on my first try without failing a dish, only missed one, oops. Pretty short, but a rather addictive hour and a half. Certainly going to be trying again for that perfect run, see how far I can get before I miss a dish. >:3
