Great game to play.

Great game about WW2. Has some top notch mods too. So it can be changed and played for hours without getting bored. One of the best games I've ever played. It might be a confusing at first, but after you get most of the things, it will be much easier and fun! Most things almost become reflexes at some point anyway. I recommend to start with a non-major country. [this recommendation got old I guess] Because its harder. A lot harder at first. So when you understand the game like that on the hard way it will become very easy to play with major nations! If not, you can always start with, Germany. Obviously. Soviets are a good choice too of course but you have to keep your head up for most things, although it's mainly good because you can handle mistakes and even if you make critical errors, you always have a ton of manpower that you can always throw at your enemies to stall them! After you understand the basics of unit templates and producing stuff, you can play Japan. It may be hard, since you will go to war pretty early and may not have your divisions ready, but it will teach you how to get your divisions ready in a short time with good templates and also how to make landings on enemy soil and then close them into a pocket. Rivaling USA's navy is also a bit fun although if you don't completely focus on it most likely you'll get demolished lol. Singleplayer is more fun with mods or dlc's obviously since you can almost always destroy the AI in some way, and mostly sad to say Allied nations usually get boring [without dlc's of course, you just kill Germany and its over] but in the multiplayer there's a lot of variations of play styles and most people would probably be welcoming to teach you stuff even if you have no experience. Don't expect to always start with majors though, and don't quit the game if you get a very minor country or even if you think you're going to be useless. Everyone in the game is useful in some way and good cooperation always brings fun! Even Brazil with marines only can be a lot of fun :D. So it's mostly a multiplayer focused game but has a decent player base.
