On the surface, this game seems completely stupid; something that you would buy only as a joke. After binge playing this game with all my free time for about 4 days, I can honestly say that this may be in my top 3 games for this year. This game actually has a serious story. One that you need to get all of the endings to put together and one that will make you step away from the keyboard after you're done and say "What the hell just happened?" This game is amazing. I never once thought I would be attached to any of these characters but there were times when I legitimately almost teared up. This game is funny. It's sad. It's downright tragic. You are doing yourself a disservice by not picking up this game. And you are doing yourself a bigger disservice if you already have it, got one ending, and dismissed it. As someone who has played quite few visual novel type games I can say without a shred of hesitation this is one of the best. 10/10, would attend St. PigeoNation's again.

I can't talk highly enough about this game. Though don't let that tell you I love everything about it. While I love this game it does have flaws.

For starters, the game will get a bit repetitive. A lot of the levels are recycled multiple times. There will be times you will think you're playing on a whole new level, but you may just find out you're on another unexplored part of a different level that you have previously explored. With that said, some of the levels are absolutely enormous and it will take you a long time to explore every inch of some of them with just one run through.

Something else adding to how repetitive the game will get is the limited amount of enemy types you will come across. There are only 3 or 4 factions. So you'll be seeing the same enemy types over and over. You'll get used to fighting them. Once you have some weapons that you've spent some time with, that you’ve customized to you, you will rip through the enemies that you're used to like they aren't even there.

Paying to play. Yes the game is free. You will get starting equip. One Warframe [Character], one melee weapon, one sidearm weapon, and one primary weapon. Enough to get you right out there and into the fray. To acquire new characters and weapons though, you will need to grind, quite a bit. First you will ether need to buy [with in game currency, not real money] the recipe for the weapon. Then you'll need to save up the credits to actually build the weapon. Then you'll need to find all the necessary materials which you'll need to grind through levels to acquire. And a lot of times you'll need to grind through a few different planets to get those materials. Once you have it all, you craft the recipe. And that takes time. A lot of time. The most you will wait is 3 days; which is the time to build a new character. Weapons are usually about 12 hours. Speaking of building a character though. Those are even harder. You’ll need to find the mission type, boss battle, or planet that the pieces to the Warframe drop in. Once you do that, you need to collect all three pieces, the head, torso, and control system for the frame. But those aren't the actual pieces; they're recipes to get those pieces. Which you will then need to craft with the right materials same as before. Once you have crafted all three parts. You need to craft them together. With the overall recipe for the Warframe. All of this costs a lot of in game credits. And overall will take about 3 days. So it's time consuming.

That being said, once you have a bit of gear, once you find a setup that you are used to and enjoy playing with, the grind goes much faster. You’ll be hopping from planet to planet grinding out materials and credits like it’s nothing. Because of that, I recommend playing for a bit. Figure out how much you think this game is worth. Drop that into the game with the purchase of the real money game currency. Me? I love this game. I played it. I enjoyed it. I felt I was playing it more than some of the $60 games I had spent money on. So I dropped $50 into it; I got myself decked out with some new frames that looked fun, some new weapons, and a sentinel. And since then I’ve ground out new equipment without even thinking about it just because I was enjoying the game.

All my problems with it aside, the game is fun, pure and simple. It may not have a compelling story; it may get a bit repetitive. But it’s fun. And really that’s what a game should be; fun, able to keep your attention. The sign of a good game is a game that you can play for hours and hours without even realizing that time is passing around you. This game did that for me. I recommend it very highly even with the shortcomings I have found with it.

Very cheap and very fun Action RPG. Probably one of the best I have played.
