Usually I don't play RPG game, but it is exceptional case. Story-rich, overwhelming atmosphere, intense action will make you excited. Overall, very decent game. I would recommend this one if you haven't played it before.

Edit : Just buy it. You won't regret at all. I would play it for 500 hours, seriously.

It's the flight-shooting game which seems quite decent.
Are you one of the Ace Combat series fan??
Or do you like flight shooter with AOA system?
Then this game is for you.
Of course it's still buggy and unstable(It's yet completed after all), but the well-made gameplay and level design makes these negatives trivial.
I would strongly recommend it.

Aside from generic gunplay, it's enjoyable. The issues I've mentioned in my previous review are mostly remedied. For competitive players, this one's not bad.

It's a decent game for flight-shooting genre. Of course it may give you a huge disappointment if you are a classic fan of Ace Combat series, as it altered its gameplay in counter-intuitive way unlike previous titles. I honestly think without Ace Combat in its title, it may have garnered positive score. But it worths a try. Maybe not more than that, but I gotta admit that I had some fun with it.

기존의 에이스컴뱃 시리즈에 비해 이질적인 요소가 많아 흥행에 실패한 비운의 작품입니다. 하지만 이 작품에 도입된 실험적인 요소들과 스릴넘치는 게임플레이는 재평가받아야 할 부분이라 생각됩니다.(물론 DFM 시스템과 스토리라인은 호불호가 갈리지만요.) 정식 넘버링이 아닌 외전인 만큼 그 자체로 보았을땐 매우 괜찮은 작품입니다. 지속적인 관리와 홍보만 있었다면 성공했을 수도 있었기에 더욱 아쉬울 따름입니다. 만약 해보지 않으셨다면 플라이트슈팅 장르 게임으로서는 한번쯤 해보셔야 할 게임이라고 생각합니다. 에이스컴뱃의 팬이라면 거부감을 느낄수 있겠지만 실험적인 스핀오프 그 자체로 즐기신다면 충분히 즐길 수 있으리라 생각하며 추천드립니다.

I really appreciate for remastering this game, Gearbox. Even though there are some missing contents in HW1:R, it was very enjoyable.

Edit : After they released the major 2.0 update, most negative aspects are now gone. Thank you, Gearbox. Your contribution will never be forgotten.

Alright, so let's talk about the game itself.

Basically this is remastered version of Homeworld series, which is real-time space stretegy game that has great story, decent gameplay, and stunning visuals.
For everyone who loves space combat, it's remarkable aspect.


So is it worth to buy? Absolutely YES.
They actually care about our feedback. You won't see such dedication from other companies.
