The most responsive, satisfying 2D fighter game I've ever played(both offline and online matches). Tutorial's pretty helpful compared to its predecessors, and every hit I make feels solid. As someone migrating from Mortal Kombat 11, it's exactly the game I've been waiting for.

Command input registers just fine for me, and although there's a 'rapid beat' combo that gives you a very easy option to deal the damage, I find it more achieving and effective to make my own command combination set.

Rapid beat is something that's debatable right now, as OG players dislike it for not being an option to disable. But I think this will give beginners a rather gradual learning curve to start with. As someone who religiously played AACC before, giving myself enough time for practice helped me figuring out how to resume the combo with proper cancel. But I understand why veterans hate it to some extent.

The downsides would be less frames per each character, and smaller roster pool than you'd expect. MBAACC had more variety in this regard, and it makes you desire more. Details for every featured character make it somewhat worthy, though.

In overall, I'm having an absolute blast in this game. For 2D fighter enthusiasts, this will be a refreshing one. Even if you don't like the theme, as long as you don't mind much and can look past, you'll see how good the foundation of game mechanics is. I hope developers keep up the formula they managed to refine in TL, while providing an option for OG players to toggle specific features.

Update: They've revealed the roadmap for upcoming updates, including new character DLCs and re-balancing. Hopefully it'll help addressing the rather small roster pool and some balance issue.

Ever since my friend recommended this game to me, I've been playing ED non-stop on EGS and decided to migrate my progress to Steam copy. It's the best space sim the market can offer at this moment, providing very relaxing experience. Grind is a bit too much and it may seem way monotonous to you, but if you have enough patience to get over the learning curve, it'll be worth your while. Great potential, I'd say.

As a spectacular addition for flight action genre, Project Wingman will take you to intense, beautiful aerial fight with near-perfect core gameplay and immersive atmosphere. Supporting this project was one of the best thing I've ever done.

Fast-paced, brutal gameplay is what makes MK11 an exceptional fighting game. Unlike Tekken 7(which is a great game for sure, but it didn't impress me enough for some reason), every moves and hits feel damn satisfying. It got me keep playing for over several hours straight in one run, so I guess it says something.

Grinding is a real ♥♥♥♥♥, though. If it wasn't excellent gameplay, I'd ditch the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ chore.

Tower modifier is a great replayability element. It makes every game unique and fun. But ♥♥♥♥ some of 'em for ♥♥♥♥'s sake as they add nothing but atrocious ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Now that I've finished my first playthrough, I think it's the right time to write my impression on this game.

At first, I wasn't really interested in Sekiro. As I didn't like Dark Souls much for some reason, I thought it may not be worth my time. Half a year later, the Steam sale has tempted me to get this, so I proceeded to give it a try.
Oh boy, only if I could get this one on day 1. It was so damn amazing.

Sekiro features brutal, yet forgiving combat along with gorgeous level design and visually appealing atmosphere. Going through trial-and-error with stunning introductions of bosses certainly gave me an accomplishing experience. Every in-game areas felt immersive, almost unmatched. Deflecting hostile attacks and analyzing moves definitely satisfied my need of wanting more depth of gameplay. It makes me want to try Dark Souls series again that I couldn't get myself into before.

Of course, there were also some cons like glitches, crashes(not that much), and sometimes confusing navigation.
Other that these, however, it was totally a blast.

So do I recommend Sekiro? I know I said this a lot in my previous reviews, but definitely I do. In fact, this one takes the cake. No other game can outmatch the feeling I had from this game, for now. For anyone looking for challenges with polished gameplay, this will surely do. 10 out of 10.

A straight-up tactical shooter I can get behind.

Decent gunplay and wide window of customizations.
Clunky, but functioning movement. Wish it was smoother.
AI's somewhat lacking in terms of complexity, although it's still fun to fight against.
Optimization is okay. However, in some instances, there are some hiccups.

For its pricetag, I'd say it worths. Could use some more contents and fixes to be added, yes, but even in current state, it was enjoyable.

Despite all the issues and drawbacks(compressed BR, some premium vehicles with debatable stats, questionable game mechanics and netcode, etc.), I've never seen any other game to match the complexity and depth WT can provide up to these days. The more I play this game, the more I learn every day, it feels rewarding enough to satisfy my desire.

If you expect a good balanced, beginner-friendly F2P game, then this will disappoint you.

If you're willing to accept its drawbacks and learn in depth, however, with some perseverance and patience, it'll be worth your while.

Disclaimer: I exclusively play Air Realistic Battle and Simulator Battle, so take my review with a grain of salt if you're looking for ground battle experience.

After putting a bit of time on this, I can say it's at least a decent game that totally worths my every cent. I've never expected this kind of game to be good with guns, and I'm glad I found this gem. Gunplay is right on point, and enemies feel unique and challenging. As you progress, it does get kinda repetitive, of course, but what game doesn't? Fortunately, randomly generated dungeon and composition makes it less redundant, so it holds some replay value.

In conclusion, if you want a good 3rd-person shooter with co-op feature and adequate challenges, this one is for you. You may feel that the price is a bit high for what it provides, though, so if you don't feel the urge to play right now, it'd probably be good to wait for sale. Otherwise, get this one and have a blast.

Not the best, but a welcoming return to the root.

After going through the whole campaign, I can say it's the Ace Combat we all know about.
Thrilling gameplay, check.
Astonishing soundtracks, check.
Cheesy B-esque plot, check.
Stable performance, check.
Remarkable visual(at least in the series), check.

In overall, it's quite great arcade flight game suitable for everyone.
My only gripe would be poor storytelling and somewhat redundant, frustrating level design, but I can accept that.

For beginners, this can be a good start to enter the genre.
For veterans, this one is on the right spot.

Update: Despite several weeks after release of the product, the issues in MP(such as crash, inconsistent connectivity, and lack of anti-cheat) still persists. If you're solely looking for the multiplayer flight game with fair, stable experience, I'd not recommend it.

The one we've waited for a long time, and it finally delivers.
Had so much fun what other broken-ass games released in this year didn't provide.
Addictive gameplay, decent visuals, and gorgeous soundtracks made it truly a masterpiece.

The only things I don't like are unstable backend server and unskippable cutscenes, which bother me a lot, but other than these, I'm impressed.
