my experience with this game goes back to the early days on xbox 360. yeah, i got into this game through the xbox 360 version. the old, buggy, piece of ♥♥♥♥ that got left behind less than a year after release because it was a dying game on a dying console? you can guess what it was like. we didn't have dodge builds. we had next to no free content. we barely even had any dlc. leveling up was slow. going infamous was even slower. stealth was impossible. overkill on 360 was like death sentence on pc. it was full of glaring flaws. and you know what? i loved that stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game anyway.

at the end of the day, it was still fun, and it still felt cool to play. and that's why i really love this version of the game. almost all of the flaws have been blasted away, all of the action has been turned up to 11, and there's oodles of content available to ♥♥♥♥ around with. and as if that wasn't good enough, there's a booming modding community, and a whole new weapon skin "industry" to boot.

tl;dr this is a good game and i like it very much yes

worth it

it's basically "quentin tarantino: the game" and while a caveat of that is that there's a few moments where you're like "dennaton why are you showing me this" (COUGH COUGH RAPE SCENE COUGH COUGH DETAILED PLUMBER ASS COUGH COUGH) it's still a borderline perfect game because it hits literally all the other prerequisites of being "quentin tarantino: the game" and all of the other prerequesites are good things

it also helps that it's one of the very few games out there that can make you enjoy excessive violence and still think about what it all means, which is a sign that the developers know what they're doing and should be trusted to do it despite the sheer amount of detail the guys put into the pig butcher's fat hairy plumber ass and the scene where evan calls manny a douchebag and leaves for next to no reason in terms of plot suggesting otherwise

it also also helps that the level editor has led to the creation of some really GREAT bonus content to play once you're done with the main game, a few shining examples being "JACKT ADVENTURES: THE ADVENTURNING," "CARLMPAIGN 2: MANNY PARDO GETS A PROSTATE EXAM," "THOTLINE MIAMI," and of course who could possibly forget the playable remake of the "steamed hams" sketch from 22 short films about springfield that someone actually made
