Enjoyable little game, less than 5 eur during the release sale, plenty worth it.

Has a few bugs, and I see that they've been pretty severe for some people, but I have faith that the dev team will fix any major issues in due time.

for the love of god, import Käärijä's Cha Cha Cha at 155bpm, that ♥♥♥♥ goes so hard

Don't get me wrong, the game is dead, and has some stability issues & ♥♥♥♥, but man... game is just fun. The competitive scene & try-hard combos would probably make me want die irl, but with a group of friends, is good fun, and it's one of the most unique platform fighters out there imo.
It's free, so give it a shot if you're curious.

This is definitely a bit of a mixed bag of a game, but as a whole, I'd say the good definitely outweighs the bad.

pros:
Big areas to explore with solid progression. Going out, completing missions, finding ammo, guns & magazines, uncovering bits of the story, purchasing progressively stronger guns from the shop, and then daring to go an explore new areas is a very effective gameplay loop.

Nice visuals & vibe, the frozen in time areas consisting of rural villages and military bases with charred remains of their former inhabitants is well done.

Can be fairly immersive. When you are walking through an abandoned building, clutching your halfbroken makarov as you hear the human mimics hauntingly imitate a little girl... that hits.


cons:
performance can be stuttery and just outright poor in spots (at least for me, granted I'm also running virtual desktop and don't meet the recommended requirements, so can't really blame them too much there.)

Polish. Oh my god, the lack of polish on especially the looting can be obnoxious. There's this sweet spot that you can hit, where your hand is supposed to snap to the handle of a cupboard or locker, and you can cleanly pull it open, but... You're gonna hit that barely 10% of the time, and more often than not, you end up forcing your hand on the inside of the cupboard, and then pulling it out from within. This is the number one thing that I hope they improve in the sequel, it singlehandedly knocks down the enjoyment of the game down a full point for me. For a game that is like 1/3rd exploring and looting, this is a big problem.

still tho, generally very enjoyable game, marred by a lack of polish.
