I've played CS since 1999/2000.

Here's the raw truth that most people won't tell you:

You are so far behind in terms of understanding of this game and its nuances that trying to "make plays" is the equivalent of trying to do a double backflip off the diving board when you don't even know how to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ swim.

Separate your practice; you aren't proficient enough to do both at the same time yet.

Practice your mechanics in deathmatch or casual pugs and focus entirely on your crosshair positioning, recoil control, and movement.

If you're nova 2 then you can improve simply by focusing. I don't mean the abstract idea of mental focus, but the literal idea of focusing your vision and senses on the game. Mute your teammates, ignore text chat, just focus on what you're doing.

Look THROUGH the crosshair instead of at it. Pre-position it, expecting where people will be, instead of reacting.

Here's another fun exercise for you:

Next time you play CS, pause every time you see an enemy for a half second and focus on adjusting your aim to their clavicle/head area BEFORE shooting.

You will realize that literally everyone at your skill level is panic spraying and has no crosshair positioning.
