I refunded after playing the game for free- I have to admit I went into it pretty excited. I am a huge fan of games with movement mechanics, I grew up on Tribes and have routinely followed the scene of vertical shooters. I got to V2, beat V2, and decided it was time to stop playing. I did not find the game particularly difficult, but I found the mechanics quite boring.

The movement felt somewhat clunky to me, and I didn't find the various enemies and rooms very fun to play against. They look like generic old video game enemies. I am sure that is part of the charm for others, and I will not hate on people for enjoying this game, clearly many do love this game a lot. I find the amount of content in this early access title a bit limited too, I ended up looking up the remainder of the content and for a game that has been out for over 2 years, approaching 3, I am very sad to see more game developers take this route of: release game in "early access" > slowly add dripped content > abandon game eventually > loop.

I understand that "THIS DEV IS DIFFERENT THOUGH!!" will likely be thrown back, but it doesn't excuse this tired process developers consistently put out. Time will tell if Hakita finishes the game, and if so, I would be happy to try it again.

An easy to read TLDR: This game feels unfinished and the idea of mixing Devil May Cry and Quake into a Retro shooter is really cool on paper, but so far has felt boring to me and could not hold my attention.

CHARMING!

Fun and simple visual novel with easy to follow narrative. You get unlimited chances to make the "right" choices. It is worth playing for any sonic fans new or old.

Gotta say though, those "THINK" minigames drag on far too long, there are WAYYYY to many of them, and the perspective they offer you alongside the controls are horrific. That perspective makes me sick. Would love to see more like this, and I bet we will. Sega has always been cool and will do sick stuff like this for their fans.

A game that has been polluted by approximately 6.5 years of early access is already a massive red flag.

The community here runs deep and rabbit holes can show some of the worst that mankind has to offer online. I love the idea of this game, but the execution here is incredibly weak. It does many things correct, but fails at consistently releasing GOOD content that people want to experience. I wish more people played this, as playerbase is a major downfall for the game. I understand negative reviews will not assist in this, however, I can guarantee that this game does not deserve a positive review until the developers can fully release a stable, content filled, and enjoyable game.

God tier premium MMORPG.

The game is great for new players, veteran players, and all else. It is expensive as all hell, but worth every cent. I am about 200 hours in and could easily see myself squeezing out 2-3 thousand hours from this game with all the crazy ass content.

Edit 05/11/23: Now at 300 hours, and beat Shadowbringers, heading into Endwalker, the most recent and last expansion (till a new one comes out some other time). I not only double down, but triple down on what I said before. This game is absolutely freaking amazing.

Edit: 11/29/23: Now at 600 hours, and about 100 hours ago (at 500 hours) beat Endwalker. This game has become one of my favorite games ever made. It is absolutely incredible and a must play for anyone who is either interested in MMOs already, or may just be getting into them. Relic weapon grinds have made me both ecstatic and miserable haha.

Very boring cash grabby game. Didn't like the gameplay or visual appeal.

EDIT 07-24-23: PERFORMANCE FIXED BUT GAME IS HORRIBLE

have a 2070 super and an i7 9700k and can't get over 100 FPS at 1440p.

inconsistent performance across maps, game looks bad, plays OK. less content than other CODs at base... I'm not an r tard that plays hardcore but it's enirely absent from the game for some reason.

OH AND THE UI BUDDY... LET ME TELL YOU. IT WAS OUTSOURCED TO THE SAME COMPANY THAT MADE HULUS UI.... It's bad.

Holy based. Play and enjoy, major Valve vibes on this one.

READ IF YOU WANT A NO BS REVIEW!!!

Runs really REALLY painfully slow. For some reason the game barely uses any CPU/GPU/MEMORY when running... I wish it would use more so it would y'know... run well. That, and after downloading the game you still have to download each "section" of characters to make custom characters. I really don't get why these weird "downloading" phases aren't just handled prior to installation. It makes the end user experience so frustrating. I haven't even been able to begin working on anything within this editor due to these issues. I will try to get it functioning by 2 hours and if it isn't then I'm refunding.

Till then, don't recommend this if you're trying to have an easy to use non-frustrating no compromise made to manga maker comipo.


EDIT AFTER AB 20 MINUTES OF USE:

Alright one more complaint, every section of backgrounds, effects, pets, poses, literally every section sits on this long loading screen that 40% of the time crashes the client. I have reinstalled, try installing on a hard disk drive or an NVME solid state drive. Solid state made it slightly more usable but did not improve the minutes of waiting time / crashes present in this product.

I love the idea behind these and love to support them with my words and finances, but this is a NO GO. Highly recommend you do NOT purchase this. Refunded.
