edit: this is now my most played game on steam and i'm quite happy with it

Honestly a bit disappointed with this series of Coloring Game. The previous ones have really creative and whimsy pixel arts, the ones in this Coloring Game are... soulless. It seems obvious to me that some were AI generated (especially the pig girl). I'd recommend playing the other Coloring Game, but surely not this one.

Le style graphique m'a beaucoup attiré car il me fait penser à celui de My Sims que j'ai adoré dans mon enfance. Luma Island est vraiment un jeu très tranquille, sans (trop de) prise de tête et je le trouve vraiment très sympa. J'ai même pu le conseiller à ma mère qui souffre de neuropathie - les jeux comme Stardew Valley et Luma Island l'aident à lutter contre cette maladie et on s'en réjouie tous.

Je pense que ça serait davantage satisfaisant si la caméra était moins restrictive (de pouvoir la baisser un peu plus pour voir à l'horizon) et si on pouvait donner un nom à notre personnage. M'enfin, ce sont que des petits détails qui n'empêchent en rien l'expérience du jeu ! Bravo aux développeurs et un grand merci !

If you're looking for some real "horror", I really don't recommend this game. Poppy Playtime's conception of horror is having eery places with more or less a lot of blood, make you look around to solve some puzzles before having to run away from X monster chasing you on a more or less short distance. Then repeat. It's really boring because at some point, you don't feel scared at all anymore since you know what's going to hit you next. Not even counting that the lore doesn't really make sense to me, it's as vague and open to interpretations as FNAF's lore.

Though a bit disappointed that you need to pay a $30 DLC to keep going with the story and unlock more characters and whatnot, overall I like the game. Cute graphics, chill gameplay, interacting with all my childhood characters makes me feel a bit nostalgic! Can't wait to see more characters get added to the game.

EDIT: I still recommend the game because overall it's fun and whatnot, but GOD there are SO many bugs and glitches. Stuff going invisible, quests bugging so you're unable to interact with them because they only give you their quests lines, monkeys bugged af, and that's just a few to name but you can see a lot more on the Discord. It's absurd the amount of bugs there are, I hope it gets fixed soon enough.

As an early access game, it has a lot of room for improvement, but I'm in love with this game. It's somewhat chill, I love the Pals' designs and the art style, and for a monster tamer game, I think it's quite an original game we got here! I mean, it's not every day you get to ride cute or cool Pokemon-style man-eating monsters and have big guns involved. I think it's a really cool game, despite all the (fake) controversies people have been spreading since the launching announcement of the game.

I don't care what anyone says, this game is scary as fXXk.

I played in on stream and at first I was joking like "it's a completely normal game", "there nothing scary about this game" then creepy stuff piled up more and more until I reached the end.

AFTER 1ST ENDING SPOILERS

For funzies, even if I was completely freaked out, I still wanted my stream to go on and discover the Nightmare Mode. I knew it was gonna be "hard", but I simply didn't know "what" was. I was freaking out more and more and at some point I paused to talk to my chat to ask if I could play some music so I could soothe myself while still being scared. I guess I was taking too long because a creepy noise played and I got scared so I quickly clicked on "Go to title screen" and the jumpscare happened.

I got scared so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much that I started to have the most intense panic attack I've ever had.

So, even if it was awful to go through that, I still applaud the devs. DDLC made me cry because it spooked me, Cooking Companions made me have an intense panic attack, therefore Cooking Companions is better.
