Alot of hype, even more potential.
Sadly, it's not a finished and polished game right now for the price.

In a sentence, the game wanted to be Shadow of Mordor but the enemy AI didn't get the memo.
The game has the same "get ♥♥♥♥, get overwhelmed" feeling than World War Z but removes the heavy gun fire mechanics for melee that feels inappropriate for the enemy designs.
Poor melee mechanics, "perfect dodges" and "perfect parries" are very subjective things when hit by 4-5 different animation based attacks. Enemies attack based on where your character is at all time, not where you were when you started dodging. The enemies get invincibility frames, dodges and combos, WE get stagger, low HP and no sustain.
I wanted to feel like a Spacemarine, instead I feel like a lethargic raid boss getting poked endlessly. My hits feel light, enemies don't stagger and I'm the one getting staggered combo.

Now for the "PvP", they tried translating the grappling, the shield and other mechanics to pvp but half the mechanics will miss or simply won't work since the lag is incredible. You get shot 0.5-1 second after breaking line of sight, grappling hook will usually target the wall behind your target since the server didn't register that the player was there, making you go through em, stuck in an animation mind you. Same goes for the shield, you can see someone looking straight at you with the shield and still land headshots, same goes for the heavy shield. All around its a poor experience, they wouldve benefited removing the buggy abilities to focus on servers. There's is little to no balance, it's a weird RPS game but where Rock lags, Paper beats anything and scissor are there to support with no rewards. Indeed, playing anything close to support for blocking for taking objectives will result you having less xp and requisitions than a 2yr old sniping the whole game from a random location. If you're looking to farm requisition without having fun, pvp is the way.

Now for connectivity issues, this isn't even the full release and we have teleporting players and enemies, people who can't access online features at all with no fix in 24h, loading screens take forever, you don't get enough time between PVP rounds to proprely modify your loadouts and using crossplay means every loading screen is gonna take twice the time.

Now i'm closing this review, something that the game can't do without crashing and me accessing my Task Manager.

Edit after 25 hours: Experiencing the game with friends who you can communicate with makes the make less frustrating and even make some encounters trivial. Sadly, the systems stay the same, you can still get staggered by AI if they decide to focus you and there's still connectivity issues.

Edit after 68 hours: Leveling your items, your skills and perks do make the harder difficulties manageable, now clearing ruthless (Hardest) operations, except Chaos ones because Chaos are janky as ♥♥♥♥. When I say clear, I mean dodging waves with doors, dodging bosses with transitions and dying a couple times, having a teamate rolling around for 90 seconds.
Here is the issue, harder difficulties just highlight more and more the buggy melee, making you take incredible amounts of damage sometimes, messing up the 10 minutes of flawless gameplay you just had. Melee attacks still desync, range enemies don't miss and pester you and bosses have inconsistent patterns based on the players around them.

You will get better, the game will be easier and you will avoid certain inconsistencies but sadly, they are still there and make me want to stick to standard difficulty after getting my weapon upgrades.

Big fun, small price!

This is for solo play; You get a pretty well rounded kit for each class so you don't NEED a party. So far the solo difficulty is balanced and require more attention to what you're equipping than actual sweaty skills.
You may get a lot of gear you don't need but the game made sure to put some traders on your way in the dungeons so you don't hoard like a 90s pokemon card trader.

This is for coop play; This the way to play. You can trade, you can combo, you can heal and buff, the more the merrier. Running dungeons solo and with someone makes it clear that it is way easier to complete stuff as a party. The combat is stable in multiplayer so far.

Combat is fun, simple, spells do what they say they do, VFX aren't obstructing the view or anything and it's clear what hits what.

Important note: You will need to tweak the camera angle, some characters are large and can hide what youre aiming at, so make sure you do.

Lack of the essence that made CoD great. Moneymaker. Has few guns but even tho, only 3 are acutally worth using. Parkour couldve been missing and the game would still be the same. Servers constantly crashing, applying paint/decals on weapons are glitching 40% of the time. Serious lack of content and is being played because of the efforts past. Multiplayer is horrible.

Zombie isnt bad, just adding worms and cults doesnt make a game new. Campaign can be played with 1-4 players. Doesnt make it any less cheesy.
