Kind of garbage. Good Idea, but executed poorly.
Needs major improvement before I can recommend.
(I understand it's a free game.)

DayZ meets Minecraft. <--- Pretty much what everyone says about this game, and they're pretty spot on. I like Dayz style stuff, so I like this game, if you like DayZ, or just survival, then you'll enjoy this game. Although I do have a few complaints and they're things that should be tweaked just a little bit. One problem I have is the amount of zombies, that should be lowered just a little bit, it's not fun having 3 bullets and having 30 zombies chasing you around a town. 2nd complaint, Map gets boring after you discover everything and find the secret underground base and all, so more maps pls. My 3rd complaint is you can't escape zombies on foot... I'm pretty sure in past zombie games I could escape zombies on foot, even in DayZ that's hard, but possible to do, However not in this game, and zombies hit hard, so fighting them isn't always the best choice. You either jump in a car and hope it has fuel, or you run into the water. But I still like this game, I still recommend it, I am aware it's in Early Access so I do assume things will be greatly improved upon in the future.

Edit: I feel as if this game really needs a server listing. Tbh it's kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ running a game off of hamachi and that's something a lot of games have done wrong.

I mean I liked terraria and minecraft but, The whole idea of having a game where u are kinda forced to make a server off of Hamachi is rather dumb.

The whole reason I bring this up, is because I wanted to do some good ol pvp because I had been watching people play pvp on this the other day and it looked fun. But it feels like more work than it should be to join one of these.

Amazing game, have always LOVED Bethesda games.
If you don't try this out, you're missing out.
I suggest also picking up Fallout 3 Game of the Year because their both amazing.

I am loving it though, loving every crying, sweating, and screaming moment of this game, it compliments itself well with the amazing atmosphere and the lunatics trying to kill you!!!

I honestly feel like this is one horror game that does it the right way. Most horror games these days seem to like giving the main character a weapon and honestly that takes away from the scary because you know you have a weapon for when the fear comes, and it makes you more comfortable. However, in Outlast you are not a fighter, you have no weapons, the only thing you have is a camera with nightvision and I love it. Not being able to defend myself keeps me afraid for my life and running at every moment crying but enjoying every last minute of it.

You can play in the blood splats too and make blood foot prints! If you're into that kind of thing that is...

Honestly this game is pretty sick.
I used to play an older Ghost Recon back in the day and back then I sucked at them, but this game feels better, smoother, and the responses are much better.
The realistic gameplay and features make it just that much better!
Only thing I have a real complaint with is it can become pay to win.
I'm not much of a fan on pay to win games because it kinda ruins the purpose of earning things legit.
But that shouldn't be a complaint, the game is amazing and that's it.
Pick this up and give it a go!

Only real complaints I have is, the launcher not closing after you close the game so you have to go into task manager and end it, and a few dc problems.

You know, I am going to have to complain, what a surprise that is huh? Okay so what do we have here... The graphics are something I can deal with because we all know that graphics doesn't make a game, However it does improve the quality of a game quite well and my pc could run this at super omega ultra high quality, the graphics on high could still use some work however. With saying that, it could definitely be improved upon.
My 2nd complaint has to come from the voice acting, ABSOLUTELY terrible. It literally sounds like you hired people just randomly off the street that had NO experience at all with any form of voice acting before this, I mean for all I know you could have picked up some bums off the street and told them you'd buy them a bottle of booze if they read words off a paper, because quite frankly that's what it sounds like to me.
My 3rd complaint has to come from the spawn. I crashed on the road and I pressed R which is the respawn button in this game by the way, anyways... I was NO WHERE NEAR, the river and for some reason, your coding sucks so badly that giving me a spawn in the river was a good idea, but it wasn't only that! I pressed R again, ONLY TO BE SPAWNED IN THE RIVER AGAIN, you want to guess what I did next? I pressed R and what happened? Respawned in the water again and again and again making this game even more unplayable and unacceptable than it already is to begin with. It can't be that hard to make actual spawns that are decent that are not in the middle of the water scuba diving. Let's be honest here that's ♥♥♥♥ programming.
Another problem I have seen in this game is some of the missions seem very... Mediocre and even that is being polite and being nice. I had more fun doing bugger all in this game than I did doing the actual 'story line' which barely exists in this game to say the least.
Now this isn't the worst and I realize that but (Who expected it to be in the first place I mean let's be honest here.) That doesn't give you the excuse to release something so appallingly broken that it's rendered unplayable because the developers are either trolls or rookies when it comes to creating codes in a game that make it an enjoyable experience.
At least this game doesn't seem to be running on Lemonade stand funds like some games so I'll give it that... (*Cough* most simulators that are on steam.)
Also this game lacks mouse functions for whatever reason so you use your arrows for menus and we all know we're too lazy for that. Takes more time then using the mouse and that's boring. There's absolutely no reason why you couldn't add in a mouse mechanic, no reason whatsoever.

With all these complaints I cannot give you a recommendation. There's no way, especially when there comes a time when you have to look out for your fellow steam users and help them before they bite the bullet and waste their precious time and money on a pathetic excuse of a game like this. Do I recommend this game to friends and other steam users? Not on your life, there's no chance in hell that I could do that.

Do NOT buy this game you WILL be disappointed.

The game seems like it goes nowhere just like this review, just filling up characters in a box telling you how unbelievably bad a game is.
(Originally Released Aug 27, 2009 but seems like it's from the 1980's but with better graphics for a game back then. In other words it's ♥♥♥♥.)

LOVED IT. Absolutely loved this game. I beat it in one day, simply because I no lifed it because it's so awesome. Kept my attention all the way through. So many fails, trials and errors and good feelings when you win! Amazing. I do recommend this game... IF you don't pick this up, you're missing out!!!

This is an amazing game. Currently it is still in pre-Alpha but it's still a good game nonetheless. I enjoy it. You're either the hunter or the hunted in this game and it keeps you wanting more. I really enjoy it. If you like survival games check this out.

This game does work for me now and is great. Way better than machine for pigs!
I do recommend this to anyone looking for a good horror game to play.
