I think the best way to simplify this game right now is... A lot of things are right with this game but there is probably a lot more things that are wrong. There is a foundation for a good BF game here, but right now it's being covered up by so many mind boggling decisions on top of it.

Performance is horrible, I have a 3080 and it runs horribly on medium settings (microstutters and can barely reach 80fps).

Gunplay in its current state is absolutely atrocious, I have no idea why they decided to completely change it from the beta, or hell even BFV's gunplay. Bullets don't seem to hit due to excessive spread values and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up hitreg, and some weapons legit need 8 shots to kill (M5A3).

Movement (apart from the addition of super sprint) is objectively a downgrade of BFV, removal of crouch sprinting, combat rolls, high wall climbing, just the general fluidity of BFV's movement is gone.

All-kit weapons are a welcome change IMO, but all-kit gadgets are a step too far. Everyone just ends up flocking to rocket launchers no matter the class, leaving gadgets like the Repair Tool or Spawn Beacon severely underused or ignored. I'm not against the Specialists as much as some people are, but just the general lack of gadget distribution within their roles is just unacceptable to me, especially when these Specialists are still being "classified" as those classic roles (i.e. Dozer is Assault, Angel is Support, Casper is Recon etc).

In conclusion, I want this game to succeed but in its current state it's a no-go for me. It lacks polish, defo needs more content to launch with (Portal is a great experience but 2 maps per game is not enough until the next major content update) and just in general a lot of grievances and "why did they do this" moments, and you just can't help feeling "why didn't they release this in 2022" all the time, especially considering the difference a one year delay did to Halo Infinite.

If a lot of these issues are addressed or fixed by the time Season 1 kicks off next year, I say give it a go, but as of now, it's just simply not good enough at whatever price tag it's been labelled with.

Pros:
-Great mechanics most of the time
-Gunplay
-ZED Time
-Variety of classes
-Gory graphics
-Very satisfying to kill Zeds
-Perk levelling

Cons:
-Mechanics can be clunky sometimes (2018 and we still can't reload cancel without switching weapons)
-Bosses get repetitive at lower difficulties

Overall: 8/10
How can a concept so simple be so addicting and satisfying? Looking to blast the heads of undead clones? Look no further than Killing Floor 2.

Pros:
- Free if you have the standard Skyrim
- Mods
- It's SKYRIM! Look up any positive review back in 2011 and they'll tell you why
- Definitely still holds up even after 6 years
- Elder Scrolls lore and universe

Cons:
- Modded Skyrim looks better
- Creation Club...
- Tons of glitches unmodded (they carry over from the standard game)

Overall: 9/10
I love Skyrim. I love it so much until I've bought it on every platform I have (excluding Switch). The original game got me so hooked I played it on PC for near 300 hours and another 500 on the 360. Now that mods have arrived to the consoles versions (predominantly Xbox One), I was hooked again, played it with mods the first playthrough and currently playing vanilla for achievements. I've already clocked 100+ hours on the Xbox One version and 20+ hours on the PC version, so if you loved Skyrim, or just love good western RPGs, definitely pick this one up.

Pros:
-Extremely fun and fast-paced gameplay/gunplay
-Glory kills
-Beautiful graphics
-Diverse types of monsters
-Immersive atmosphere
-Diverse weapons
-Extremely good weapon/armour progression system
-Fun, well-made Campaign levels
-Playable Demons in Multiplayer
-DOOM Snapmap
-8+ hours campaign length

Cons:
-Sometimes crashes to desktop
-Boring and generic Multiplayer mode

Overall: 9.5/10
This is truly a masterpiece. If someone thinks this game is just average, do not listen to them. DOOM is everything you want in a fast-paced FPS with some horror elements. The multiplayer might be slightly rubbish, but it doesn't mean you shouldn't pick this game up immediately.

Pros:
-Extemely tactical gameplay
-Super cool and balanced characters
-Encourages teamwork
-Lots of weapon customisation
-Destructible walls
-Extremely well done fortification system

Cons:
-Sometimes extremely glitchy
-No single-player mode
-Boring "Situations" missions
-Quite steep learning curve

Overall: 8.5/10
It's like Counter-Strike mixed with a ton of other tactical shooters. Pick it up if you like that sort of stuff. But be warned, it's recommended that you play with your friends for the best possible experience.
