It's hard for me to pass up space marines and aliens. Definately has a nice learning curve to it (if your commander is helpful and nice). Love how they manged to pull off StarCraft like aliens that are just as tenacious as Zerg, and still maintain that fast paced Counter Strike FPS aspect as well.

I didn't expect much coming into it as my first Saints game, but it's ridiculously amazing! I have officially grown tired of the GTA series after IV, and this is just a breath of fresh air. Yes it has unrealistic arcade like elements, but that's why I keep logging hours into this game. Not all sandbox games are meant to be realistic shooters with storylines. This actually maintains a good story and some pretty decent character. GTA forgets about these customization elements as well which is why I'm not expecting much out of the upcoming game. I'm definately purchasing this and will finish this game before the 4th is due to release. Please heed my words, and give this game a try. It has been given a stigma that it's the Scary Movie of video games trying to parody everything they get their hands on. If that's true then why do I get the feeling these developers are working harder on these games? It's a very beautiful DirectX 11 game I might add. Compare this city to the ones in GTA, and tell me if it's not on an equal or better playing field comparison. So if you can get past the stereotypical anomalies of this game, I GUARANTEE you will have somewhat of a good time. Yes the story is linear, but that doesn't stop you from earning the games many achievements and in-game challenges. SR REPRESENT!

Why hadn't I tried this before? I'm definately not one for tactical, team-oriented, or realistic based shooters, but this is just perfect! I never really got into the WWII battlefields, I think this is the perfect balance for me. Not too serious, and your team is there to help you if your new, although a lot of em hated the free-weekenders :P. Amazing graphics by the way! Unreal does it again, with their state of the art bloom and occlusion effects. You can also change the post-processing to make the game look like old WWII footage (not that you don't already feel like you are). Well done...I will be playing this for years when I purchase it.

I love me a good ol' THQ 3rd person hack 'n' slash! The Darksiders series delivered, and now I'm playing a Warhammer game for the first time (that isn't an RTS). I'll tell you one thing, these were the original space marines, it's the reason why they've become so popular in futuristic Sci-Fi games.
