Still very rough around the edges, but this game features great gunplay and amazing customisation.
Give this game a few more months to squash the major bugs and I can see this game taking off as an incredible modern day FPS.

I have been a fan of the series for a good few years now and this title adds even more quality of life improvements from the older games, making it more accessible to newer players and old veterans alike.

This instalment focuses on tracking the monsters and establishing pretty decent ecosystems which allow monsters to fight each other as well as you causing some hectic encounters. The game keeps the weapons mostly the same but adds new moves and makes them flow better in combat, allowing for quicker learning than older titles.

The grind for gear is entirely down to RNG, but the encounters are enjoyable enough that you usually don't mind fighting the same monster a few times to get the materials to craft or upgrade that piece you've been eyeing up for a while.

I could go on and on about this game all day, it's an incredible title and there is a massive expansion arriving on PC in the winter (adding even more monsters, a new locale, new moves and "Master Rank" which is G Rank from older games), getting back into a game has never felt so good for me.

I would recommend this game to anyone who wishes to try a game with a decent challenge and is willing to learn how the weapons work to fully enjoy this experience. My favourite multiplayer focused game.

TIME PLAYED IS ONLY COUNTING THE TIME IN SINGLEPLAYER!!

I originally enjoyed this game when it was first released... but I've finally opened my eyes to the fact that it feels just like every other boots on the ground COD, nothing special... The gameplay id fun for about 5 - 10 minutes before you realise that you've experienced all the game has to offer on the Multiplayer front, all of the gamemodes are the same as they always have been, just with a War gamemode, which I can argue is the best part of the Multiplayer... But even this can get repettetive. There is also hackers in the game already and that is unacceptable for a mainstream AAA game. Also Loot Boxes Galore... mostly cosmetics at this point with a few Weapons WHICH can be unlocked by completing 50 matches for ONE... Not a great way of handling that... As I said earlier on... I first played this game actually enjoying it... but soon found out that there wasn't many differences between this one and some of the older ones... (Go back and play World at War, there is hackers but there is also better servers and mod support for Zombies).

I have only played the singleplayer for about 6 minutes to set up controls and graphics settings, but I've played the multiplayer for about 11 hours so I've got enough time under my belt to make a decent review. (Didn't actually play the Campaign as I saw reviews saying it wasn't what was expected and wasn't as authentic as Sledgehammer Games said it would be... Never been interested in a COD Campaign since Black Ops 2...)

If you're looking for a historical FPS that is actually authentic, go for Day of Imfamy or Battlefield 1. Both of these games are worth it and don't lock weapons behind loot boxes (Weapon skins are in BF1 though)...

I absolutely suck at this game! But I love it! One of them games which you must learn from your mistakes otherwise you'll die... constantly... Creepy, difficult and so much fun, it's borderline addictive at times!

A change of pace for me, as I mostly play action-oriented games. This game gives you so much freedom in your actions by allowing you full control in your customisation and on the actions you take each day of each season.



Definitely worth the purchase, 10/10!

You've heard it all before...

Got this game with a bundle, and I love it! The game is still in very early stages but it allows you to explore quite a lot of the map even if the story is incomplete at the moment. It lets you go to future areas and also do a few small quests there.

This game will be an outstanding RPG when its fully complete!
