It's been a while. I haven't played video games in any kind of serious way since 2020. This virtual space feels both familiar and foreign to me. I've received a warm welcome back from my old gaming buddies, who have been saving a seat for me. Much appreciated. I looked back at my old Steam profile from 4 years ago and I didn't recognize any of the words I had written there.

So who am I, today, as of writing this?

I am someone who craves creativity, yet seems incapable of finding ways to express it. I have recently taken up photography and for short bursts, I am able to satisfy the creature inside of me that so desperately wants to come out and play. Taking photos feels good to me so at least for now, I'll keep working on that. You can see some of them below! Are they any good? I don't know!

I continue to have the humor of a grade-school kid. Farts are incredibly hilarious. Philip McCrevice? LMAO. If we ever play a game together, I will absolutely say something inappropriate and laugh way too long about it. With every passing year, comedy takes a hit, but never truly dies. As such, comedy will live on in my heart and mind probably forever.

I am a family man. If I'm not online, it's probably because I'm out spending time with my wife and kid. My wife isn't much for gaming, but my kid is. She will probably get her own profile on here in a few years!

Gaming is still one of my passions. I love everything about them. The worlds, sounds, characters, stories. I'm happy to be in a position where I can enjoy them again like I used to!
