Some part of the game i really like, like the character menu and leveling system and the lock-on and follow mechanics in space combat, but others are really bothering me.

I saved and went into a dungeon that said lvl 30-32 which is much higher than me just to yolo it (i'm lvl 8). The dungeon was under water so the whole building both inside and outside was submerged but the sound and everything was like it was not, and my character didn't have helmet on either and none of the enemies had either. I killed some bad guys and my right mouse button kept firing at the same time as i was aiming down the sights for some time but then fixed itself and then came back randomly. I dealt very easily with the soldiers, one of them was bugged inside an elevator door so i couldn't shoot her, but when i walked close she knocked me down unconcious with a mele attack but i could still access the elevator controls so i went to the outside. There my character spawned unconcious upside down 50 meters up in the air laying down but it was not me, as i was now a separate corporeal being and could fly anywhere but i had no body. Anyway i figured i could go into my ship and leave again to "reset" the character and it worked. So i went inside again and all enemies had respawned, all loot aswell so i could just farm this place indefinetly if i wanted i guess? But i knew i hadn't explored the whole dungeon so i killed everyone as easily as before and went to the last bossrom, and there i was oneshotted. I'm not saying it was wrong because the higher level of the "boss", (it was a lvl 30-32 dungeon after all) but shouldn't the guards have been a little harder aswell? Because i was oneshotting the guards as hard as the boss was oneshotting me.

Autosaving should be implemented more. Like when a mission updates there should be an outosave if it is allowed in that location.

I guess the procedural generation is really hard to get right and some problems are to occur so i will have some oversight with that, it IS an alpha game after all. But more work to fix spawning issues of bases and spawning of enemies i guess.

I was going to check some documents in a freighter and jumped down in some cargo containers, and some enemy drones came and shot at me. But they could shoot through the container from the outside but i couldn't shoot out from the inside. They did like 1 dmg so it was fine, i could just fly out and shoot them but still... And another question i have is why i can't shoot when flying with jetpack? I guess it's maybe a balancing thing but pretty wierd that drones exists and can shoot at you but you need to land to shoot even if you aren't using your arms when flying.

I pressed h to release the mouse and clicked on a button on the top left bar, and the rightmost button when i was in the cockpit view, it looked like i entered some strategic mode seeing the ship and the station closeby from afar. But when i was in that screen i couldn't get out from it, ESC didn't work so i couldn't check the control settings either, i tried every common button until i just started slamming the keyboard with both my palms until i accidently hit the right button and went out of it.

I believe motion blur is still on even if i havethe slider all the way to the left. Turning with 120 fps feels much more blurry than it should be. I want to turn it completely OFF. Motion blur was initially made for cinematic games with high graphic demands to smooth out the low frame rate experience for those with bad PC's, and now we are just stuck with this in every game.

I have 3 monitors and every time i accept changes in the setting menu it changes the game to another screen even if thet is NOT the one selected as output. If i press accept again just after it goes back to the right screen. Happens both if i have the game in fullscreen mode or borderless.

If you are close to a station orbiting a planet for example and selected another place to warp to but changed your mind, and want to fly to a place on the planet the station you are close to are orbiting instead it doesn't work, because you can't set a new target as the planet, and you can't press B to turn on/off navigation because that now turns on/off the warp drive instead because you have set another body as a target. So you need to warp to some other planet and then back again to be able to go to the planet, if you don't want to travel just using W+boost that is.

If you have locked on to warp to a place but changed your mind there is nothing you can do other than press boost to go there, so why do i even have to press boost if i don't even have a choice to abort?

Camera shake...OH MY GOD THE CAMERA SHAKE...I have every slider on the absolute lowest, but being shot at, camera shake, so much that your aim is completely knocked off. There is no way to hide effectively either, or take cover (and if you're lucky the enemies just shoot right through solid object aswell, so sometimes hiding behind a wall won't work, but you can't shoot back through the object because f*ck you) and if 2 or more are shooting at you, your aim will fly around so much that you won't hit anything, it's like the same camera shake as being hit with a 2 handed weapon in skyrim...that's a pretty good comparison, but it's all the time and coming from automatic weapons. Then they will swarm you and your camera will shake even more. When flying in atmosphere the camera shakes, and not a little either, if you let go of the mouse for 5 seconds you will be 45-90 degrees off course no joke. Not even planes or helicopter we have today is that bad.

I change my mind about the generation of buildings aswell, it's not good, 5 outpost have been super glitched and i saved outside one and ofcourse now when i load i fall into the floor, i managed to escape being trapped but still. And they all look EXACTLY the same on the outside, they are even glitchy in the exact same way (one way holes in the floor, you can fall in but you can't get out), the inside also look EXACTLY the same, just boxes everywhere, the layout of the boxes and room is different but it's still the same ♥♥♥♥.

The game looks pretty ok, really good in some places but really bad in others, so it's pretty inconsistent. But the immersion is washed down because the sound feels like it's coming from a game from 2004. Firing a gun for example sounds exactly the same wherever you are, it's just a .mp3 file playing in your ears. And i was going to a base on a planet and i just had this waterfall sound blasting in one of my ears as i came flying down in my ship. I guess it was suppose to simulate that it was raining maybe? I had to lower the effect sound to 10% to even hear what a guy was saying in the com radio. But then the problem is that all other effect sounds was also very low. So when i left the planet i had to increase the effects volume again. Just to name two examples.

I am willing to change this review to a good one if the problems i mentioned gets fixed.

I have played this game for only like effectively 10 hours now and i'm already pissed and could bring forward all these problems.(i left the game paused during the night because i fell asleep on the couch yesterday, and when i came back to play the game crashed instantly after i unpaused it)

And i haven't seen any dev comments on any of the bad reviews so i figure that he doesn't even read it. Which is really bad if that is the case. Please prove me wrong. And from reading alot of bad reviews, it looks like the dev is just adding alot of functions and stuff that breaks when people play, this is a rabbit hole i see so many games go into where everything is experimental and nothing is finished. The result is sadly that devs start to implement cool functions, but they are built upon other functions that aren't complete, and that was built upon another thing that wasn't complete. So then what you end up with is a multilayer of compounded problems that can spiral out of control.

I've got alot to say about this game, both good and bad but mostly good, I'll start with the bad. I know the developers are working on the game and that they've had alot of trouble with the pathfinding in 3D for the bricktrons (but now it's working perfectly!). But content in the game is not so noticeable, new enemies and wooden ramps and a couple of curved bricks and all that but in the mean time my archers are shooting all my knights all the time, that makes me ending up with a hundred archers and just a handfull of knights placed at locations not reachable by the archers. So my general tought is prioritations, but on the other hand, it would't be wrong to have a ballista, boiling oil on the walls, workshops with a smith to upgrade your knights etc etc etc... the name IS castle story and the medieval guys had some pretty sick and awesome inventions that's just waiting to be reincarnated digitally, I really recomend the dev's looking in some history books. And a few other things that bugs me is that i cant place catapults or stockpiles on wooden floors, I mean, that's how everything in this world is built.

Don't buy this game, yet. Wait and see how the game progress, there are 6 beta versions and one stable version that is several years back in time that hasn't ben updated at all. However it's a great game concept and a beautiful combat simulator but the development feels like a mess and I keep ragequitting all the time because of bugs and strange things happening.

To the devs: You need to be better at adding NEW and STABLE NONCRASHABLE NONGLITCHABLE NON NOT WORKABLE content to the stable version and keep up with the beta versions and try to keep that stable version atleast half a year behind the betas.

Now like 3 years later the game is actually playable and alot of fun if you like RPG and basebuilding.
