I've played this game before and watched it many more times. I know the story well and I absolutely love it - my favourite of the two is Virtue's Last Reward.
If you can, it's probably best to experience the game completely blind. There are some great mysteries, twists, you may predict some, but I very much doubt you'll predict them all - something will surprise you!
Can't recommend it enough.
