I love to listen to music, and make music too.
According to the Myers-Briggs personality test, the core of me is INFP, but knowing myself I have the tendencies of an INTJ with, sometimes, bursts of extroversion, especially if a topic comes up that is dear to me or I am just simply in a curious, playful mood.
I like solitude, I even need it - to process the never-ending stream of thoughts and emotions, but I also enjoy dialogues with kind, open-minded people. I have a soft spot in my heart, for communication that is warm and intellectual.
I love to daydream, and explore the mind - others as much as my own. I find it very fascinating, how we are so different, yet so alike. And at times, I find it frustrating, when I see there is a potential for a good bond in theory, but in reality it plays out completely different. Sometimes, I even find it heart shattering, soul-crushing, and it can make me stay awake at night, unable to sleep. I feel things very deeply, and it can haunt my mind for a very long time.
I tend to overthink things. Sometimes, I make things very complicated, and get hung up on details or things that seem big to me, but in your eyes it might be very trivial. We all have our own unique perspective of life and it changes and varies with mood and how we interpret our experiences and what story we keep telling ourselves about ourselves, our roles and how we want to be perceived, where we belong and with whom we belong, what community we settle in, and what people we seek acceptance from.
Life to me, is a journey. A bittersweet one, for we are born alone, we live alone inside our own minds, and we die alone. Depressing no? That is why, it is so important for us to find the people we can be ourselves with, be open with, and feel it is a place where it is perfectly okay to be who you are without hurting yourself too much or the ones you are with.
