Early Access Review
At this stage, my review is based off my experience in both the closed technical test and the couple of games I managed to get into since release.

First impressions:
Coming from 1000+ hours of BF4, I see strong potential for the game once the initial issues are sorted. Being unable to reliably join servers on release day is a letdown for obvious reasons, however I do not feel that this is grounds for refunding - it is early access after all. While initially silent (although this could be due to release time), the devs are now providing a fairly regular stream of updates via twitter regarding hotfix progress, and seem genuinely sorry / disappointed regarding the issues.

Performance:
This seems pretty good when compared to other early access titles, even in heavy firefights with lots of particles I maintain on average 120 - 140 FPS @ 1440p on a 6950x, 1080ti and 16GB RAM. Game loading times are an issue even loading from an NVMe drive, so if you have SSD space I would highly recommend using this as your install location.

Gameplay:
In terms of the game itself, gunplay feels solid and time to kill is appropriate for each weapon. Recoil patterns and bullet spread are realistic for the guns I have tested so far. The overall gameplay mechanics provide a fairly good middle ground between the hardcore style of ARMA 3 and the more casual, arcade shooter Battlefield / Call of Duty experience. Regarding infantry vs vehicles, I haven't had a chance to test drive any armor yet. However, I can say that the armor seems appropriately balanced (avoiding the tank altogether or working as a squad to take it down are the only options, solo RPG'ing a tank will get you killed 99% of the time.)

Final verdict:
Based on what I've seen so far, the game should provide a solid modern shooter experience once completed, and will definitely be a good alternative for Battlefield veterans, as well as a strong competitor to BFV. Yes, it has its issues, but thats the nature of early access. You expect bugs etc, and the devs have shown a strong willingness to make changes based on feedback from players. Overall, if you want to actively contribute to development of the game, go ahead and buy it. If not, you would be better off making a decision closer to the 1.0 release.

Other:
I'm honestly appalled by the community response surrounding this release. While there have been major issues over the first 24 hours making the game unplayable, linking viruses on the discussion forums and making death threats against the devs or anyone who disagrees with you IS NOT OK and deserves a permanent steam ban. As a community I thought we were better than this, and its disappointing to see.

Fun game so far, running really nicely on I7 4770K and GTX 980 (60 FPS solid @ Ultra 1080p). Unfortunately, Nvidia hasn't released an updated driver for this release, so hopefully we will see updates from both Nvidia and AMD within the next few days.

Gunplay is smooth, and if you played The New Order you shouldn't have any issues adjusting to this game(I guess it helps that its the same engine)

10/10 would use the pipe again.
