This game has it all: clever, brain-bending puzzles that make you feel like a genius without throwing your controller, a never-ending pile of spooky levels that just keep coming, plus a kickass soundtrack.

Best rally game available right now. FFB is fixed and physics are great!

Monetization could be better.

Phenomenal tactical FPS that improves upon it's previous entry in almost every way.

Pros:
-Tight tactical gameplay
-Amazing feeling gunplay
-Sounds are just incredible
-Graphics are really good for an indie game
-Incredibly satisfying

Cons:
-Not the most polished game (but not that bad either)
-Third person player animations need some work
-Kinda short on content (plenty of guns but not that many maps and modes)
-Matchmaking and server browser can be better

Gameplay

This is the game you are looking for if you are tired of bullet sponges and too much casual hand holding in FPSes. In Insurgency you have to actually be aware of your surroundings and be very thoughtful of where you are and where enemies could be, since there's no minimap, 3D spotting and the HUD is minimal. So you're forced to play mindfully in order to do well since a single shot can kill you.
There's no way around it, this game is brutal and the learning curve is quite steep, but when you start to get the hang of it it becomes an extremely satisfying experience that can't be found in any other product atm.

Sound

The sound effects and sound tech in this game are just brilliant, I have yet to play a FPS that does it so well and is this immersive.

Graphics

The first person models and animations for the weapons are excellent, on par (if not better) than most of AAA shooters coming out in 2018. This was already a strong point in Insurgency Source and they've managed to improve it even further on the UE4.

Overall environment detail is very high and each map has a distinct look and feel to it.

Third person player characters could be better, the textures are not that great and the actual models feel a bit off in scale. Also, although the third person player animations have improved since the beta, they are not up to standard and seem very stiff and unrealistic sometimes.

Optimization

After playing the pre-order betas I was left a bit disappointed by the lack of optimization and polish that was present at the time.
But I'm glad to report that devs managed to fix most of the issues and the game runs really great now (GTX 1060 6gb, Ryzen 2700x, 8gb RAM). There's still room for improvement though, especially in textures loading in game looking blurry and some stuttering here and there.

Veredict

As it stands on release the game is incredibly fun and satisfying and is definitely a must buy. And despite still not in the level of polish and content we should expect from a fully released product, given NWI's track record I have no doubt this game will receive many great updates and become the great product it deserves to be.

Early Access Review
Best early access I've experienced so far.

The developers are very active in the community, and therefore several features and fixes have been implemented originated by community feedback.

The tracks are great, cars feel realistic.

DON'T CUT.
