Do you want to feel like a rock star? Then this game is for you.

No seriously - you get to have little trains, just like Rod Stewart

Complete change of review.

I went back and tried FS22 after this.

FS22, even unmodded and no expansions is vastly superior to this. While there's been minor improvements in FS25 to some things, a number of things have been changed for the worse.

Just go buy FS22.

It needs a lot of polish, but that's to be expected from a PGI title. Gameplay currently lacks a significant hook into making you want to keep playing. --edit: DLC pricing has changed to free now, but the remainder of the review stands

Great game, fun to drive, and connect the production lines. Vroom vroom. Great addiction Mr Bug introduced me to.

It's a great sandbox for a game. Think of it as a bottomless box of Lego. If you like setting your own goals (or using community made scenarios) with building and stuff - you'll probably like this. If you need a game defined end goal/task progression set out for you with a definitive "The End" screen - you'll probably hate this.

Edit for Contact - okay, new ballgame. The encounters breathe necessary life into the game so mods are nowhere near as necessary.

This one is mandatory. It adds too much good stuff to not. Career mode especially lends well to coop play.

Recommending only because I like hitting stuff with an Axe. Or a Claymore. Just needed some bagpipes. And something resembling a decent story to go with it. This is a yes, only barely though.

Overall - sure. Some fun content, some lacklustre stuff. Campaign is good for Coop.

Fun and painful. Definitely a great one for Coop.

Will have to Not Recommend this DLC at this time.

Many bugs - including some pretty major ones within the Arenas, a core component of the DLC. Also the campaign itself is certainly not made with Coop play in mind (only 3 missions capable of it in the entire chain).

Will revisit this review once the inevitable patch for arena play drops.
