With your trusty companion, Aesop, you travel together down what seems like an endless river that have swallowed up the world. In search for that little something.

This is an unforgiving survival game which leaves you with the feeling of never being truly safe, because you are constantly on the move.


Even though I have died multiple times from drowning, snake bites or trying to take on a full grown- feral bear. The game is thrilling because you never truly know what is lurking on the island you travel to. And while going downstream, you have to be quick on your thinking of what you might need. Because you can not turn back.

build a campfire to get yourself dry so you don’t die of the cold? Or choose the island with an infirmary so you can find resources to craft a cure for that awful snakebite that’s poisoning your heart to death?
The right path might save you- for a little bit, so you have more time to find a cure for yourself. But which one is more severe than the other at the time?

Which leads me to say what an interesting single player survival game this is. And that’s just part of the gameplay. There’s also thrilling and beautiful soundtrack, scenery and character design. Not even mentioning the realistic rabbit traps you can make would be a shame !

Warmer clothes, thinner clothes, medication, weapons, cooking over a campfire and catch rabbits with snares. Or if you’re lucky, maybe even a wolf for that fur coat you've been dying,- literally to get for some time now.

Now don’t be fooled, this game isn’t like any other where you can just wrap a bandaid over your gunshot wound and be magically healed. No, you might need penicillin also.
And gathering all these materials and resources is not a walk in the park.

You’re in search for that something, because there must be something right? You got hope.
It’s the end of the world and you're alone with Aesop, your trusty companion, who found you in your most dire need.

You can always wait for a sale on steam or check on Humble Bundle where it often comes on sale too. I believe this game is worth the full price.
