Once again I forgot to pay attention to what I was doing, and I took an MMO to the knee. May the Force be with me, always.

Or something.

For a remaster done right, look no further.

Come back and relive the journey we all know and loved, upscaled and ready for our next gen builds. From high def thicc qweens to revamped controls and streamlined sidequests, Legendary Edition has set a bar for all future remaster efforts. I cannot recommend this game enough. If you have never played ME and are on the fence? Shame on you. Get to steppin! If you have played them and are on the fence? Shame on you. Get to steppin!

This is hands down, the best game of this generation of games. Ignore complaints about performance issues, that's just simps with 1070's tryna run everything on Ultra. This game has great narrative, systems, play control, and keeps you coming back for more. I will stan Aloy for all time.

I was doing fine and staying occupied during the pandemic, but then I took an MMO to the knee.

Quit the QQ, the game is great; it's your PC that sucks. Stick to console if you can't afford to buy good videocards and processors.

In a nutshell: Assassin's Creed Lite. Gameplay is decent, and what you would be accustomed to if you played AC3 since it uses the same engine. Graphics are passable for a handheld conversion, though there are occasional glitches to be found. The biggest single weakness of this entry in the series would be the story. It moves quickly, with very little character development. This is either due to lazy writing, the constraints of it being handheld in origin, or both. If you're a fan of the series, I recommend it. If you're a fan of strong female characters, I recommend it. If you haven't played an Assassin's Creed before, start elsewhere.

If you're a fan of tactical RPG's, don't mess around; pick up X-Com right now. It's brutally difficult--every choice, every move you make can have ramifications. It is nearly impossible to get through the campaign without limping to the finish. Your troops can permantly die, and you are often forced to choose between saving a nation or securing resources. It's not an easy choice to make. The addiction comes in during replays, trying to make it through the campaign in better shape than your last play through.

With the release of Brave New World, Civilization 5 finally stands on equal ground with the previous entry in the series. The mother of all strategy games, Civilization is a game you can keep going back to in between sessions of the lastest killer apps. Deep, long, complex, and infinitely replayable. With Workshop support, you can change the flavor of your games by adding new content and making a modded Civilization far more detailed than the vanilla flavor.

100+ hour pirate simulator. If you're a fan of the Assassin vs Templar story, you might be left a bit wanting; yet the size and scope of the sandbox will leave you impressed. Edward Kenway isn't Ezio, but he sure as hell is a cut above Conner. If you're a fan of the series or just wanna gra'dat booty, pick up Black Flag.
