Just a cautionary note, dev’s friend here.

Review:

Let Santa do the shooting in this Christmas themed casual game.

The goal is simple. Don’t let snowmen steal gifts from under the Christmas tree.

All you have to do as Santa is to run around the map and collect pickups, cookies and weapons of mass des … *ahem* … I mean Christmas to make the snowmen’s job a little harder. As time goes by the amount of snowmen will increase making this game a little bit of a strategy game in the late stages of a level. Later on, you have to think about what weapons to use and when to use them. It is important to reserve ammo for weapons early on and only use them when necessary.

Upgrades are also esential and you have to collect plates of cookies to earn upgrade points. They seem expensive, but one plate of cookies is worth around 10 points – or maybe more - as I’ve experienced, so the grind in this game is definitely doable.

If you are looking for something to kill time with during a good little food poisoning between two Christmas lunches (or you just want to have fun with a lighthearted, little, Christmassy indie game), then I can only recommend this game. Note: the game is also available in the Android and iOS stores.

Merry Christmas everyone!

If you are looking for a challenge or just simply masochistic, then look no further! This game is - almost - all about platforming and bouncing and you are in great luck 'cause you are actually, and I mean ACTUALLY, a ball in this game. Learning how to bounce around in your newfound body might take a while, but as soon as you find out how to move around, you will enjoy your carefully executed curves in the air ... or just die as many times as it takes to reach the next point of your journey. Now, hear me. This ball, you, can also talk - little bit dull and sounds like he doesn't care about the crumbling world around him, but whatever - and this is kinda important 'cause there are other characters in the game, whom you can talk to and choose how to interact with them. Funny, mean, shy, as****e, you name it. So, if the power of talking wasn't enough, you can also wield weapons - TWO at a time even! - and fight with creatures twisted by the Ruin - or something. But if dual-wielding didn't convince you, then I should mention that you are also able to cast spells. Similar ones you would find in a Player's Handbook, but 3,14 times better. Now if you'd allow me I would not go back on my review to find more opportunities for ball puns and besides ... I have a game to finish.

TLDR:

YOU, are a Bouncing Talking Trader BattleMage Trapped in a Ball Exploring a Crumbling Realm full of Corrupted Creatures.

WTLDR:

Platform, bounce, fight with weapons, cast spells, trade, explore, appreciate small dev team and give lots of love.
