Awesome game, exceeding vanilla Skyrim in all aspects and well worth giving it a try because it is FREE
10/10 would have my soul destroyed by the characters and storyline again

fully sick
I highly recommend this if you enjoyed Portal 2 and want to try an expansion on its puzzles. The chambers are great and the concept is built up very well as you progress even though it sounds complicated (time travel/alternate timelines).

You are placed into a world you don't know, and everyone around you can tell you don't belong. You are welcome to few and a large part of the game is about getting to know the people of Vvardenfell, their customs and their way of life. Over the course of the game you learn a great deal about the rich history of Morrowind and its people and integrate yourself - You are still an "outlander" but also a friend.

Having played Oblivion and Skyrim (and comparing the 3 a lot as I play them), here's what Morrowind does best (in my opinion)
- The richness of the world, its hidden secrets, and the feeling of being actually a part of it and causing things to change
- Longer and fuller quest lines making it feel like you really did work to the top of a guild (although I think Oblivion's quests are generally more interesting)
- The requirement to actively take in the world around you as all you get in quests is vague directions written in your journal. You have to pick out landmarks and some directions are downright wrong which is often frustrating but eventually rewarding (You'll probably have to google a few things when you get stuck though)
- The soundtrack (very subjective but I just thought it was epic and meshes really well with the world)

Things that aren't so good
- "Old" game mechanics such as walking slowly, missing swings in combat (especially when your stamina is low, keep it full), having to spec your character very carefully which pushes prospective players away - You can fix a lot of this with mods or looking at guides
- Graphics, but there are great overhauls that are really easy to install

Why you should try it
- Dude you can literally fly in this game. It's built into society and there are people with houses that are literally inaccessible without it. The people who are too dumb or too poor just don't get to fly. It's mad.
- Further to literally flying, looking up guides on how to break the magic system and become a levitating, fire breathing god is so fun. I'd recommend only doing this after playing a decent amount without these exploits.
- I really think this game has some of the greatest storytelling, world building and RPG elements ever and I hope you can find as much interest in this world as I do

On paper, Cobalt is fairly simple. You are a robot dude, and you shoot other robot dudes and things. When a bullet, grenade or other hazard comes close, time locally slows down around you, giving you time to punch that grenade back, deflect that bullet or pull some otherwise epic combo. Trust me, this is way more fun than it sounds.

With the high skill ceiling on all aspects of the game (timing shots, throwing bombs, punch jumping, etc) there is a lot to learn but the game is pretty easy to pick up and has plenty of things to do such as a detailed campaign, speedrun challenges (against the rest of the world), wave survival, plug football (except you can throw it) and good old deathmatch.

Brilliant gameplay, and I also like the graphics style. I would recommend this to anyone who likes action and pulling cool stunts and general awesomeness. There is plenty for both competitive and casual players.

Get it. Get it now.
