If you liked the first one, this one is probably better in terms of mechanics, but man the story is low in effort, the ending is so bad I quit the game, and saw on youtube what's supposed to happen.

It had more potential than the first one, but it falls totally flat in terms of story.

To be honest, the game is great, but unfortunately has a shrinking player base. I am not a fan of the interface (the pop-ups at the start), but I find the graphics immersive and beautiful, the gameplay is fun. For me it's better than PUBG in pretty much every aspect, and I know lots of die-hard fans will prefer PUBG, but the devs has come a long way sometimes innovating on their own, other times copying other games' innovations, but they are patching and improving the game constantly.

What I love about the game is the out of the box thinking in terms of story development, concept in general (!). It makes you feel as if you're Neo in the Matrix.

Some criticisms:
  • The words SUPERHOT after every level gets tired. (really quickly)
  • I'd love to be able to have 3rd person, and *much* more ways to dodge bullets than just movement. I want to BE Neo in the Matrix, not just feel like it. So bending over (forward or Neolike - backward), crouching, crawling, diving jumps with rolls at the end etc.
  • Graphics is functional and fits the plot (that I've played), but it feels "lazy"
  • The bullets move too slow. (Probably a feature)
