Another gem from the past!
This racing game was yet an another childhood game of many people. It still holds up pretty well: the servers are online, Steam Workshop, Achievements and Trading Cards are implemented and it even has a 4-hour Career Mode, which doesn't exactly have a story, just some backgrounds here and there to make the game more entertaining. But overall the experience is great! It's fun, relaxing, just what you need to spend a free evening after a hard day at work/school/university. It also has an absolute banger of a soundtrack, the gameplay is great and I would definitely reccomend this game to everyone who loves racing games!.

Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic II - The Sith Lords was developed by Obsidian Entertainment, as a sequel towards the original Knights of The Old Republic game made by Bioware. And I think it is important to know that KOtOR 2 was the very first game made by Obsidian Entertainment.

The game tells you a story that happens around 3000-3500 years before Battle of Yavin IV (the day when the first Death Star was destroyed), and the story itself is... unique. I cannot recall any other game which had a similar story-line.
You are being one of the last Jedi to walk the galaxy, it's a reign of Sith Empire, the galaxy is on the verge of death and it's destiny depends on you, and the overall atmosphere of loneliness and danger is something that gives you chills whenever you play the game, let it be your first time or 100th time.

This game actually helped me through some hard times. I was a teenager when I played this game, and I had personality problems, I just could not understand some particular stuff, I was impulsive and such. But I always had interest in older games, and this game influenced me a lot. The amount of life lessons this game can give you is nothing I have ever saw before. Almost every line said by any character you can quote, and it won't sound anywhere around stupid at all. The game shows that life is not as black and white as most people are used to treat it as such. There is an another side of a coin for almost every case scenario, and the game just makes you think about your principles, motivations and after playing this game for some time, and if you have true interest in it, you will ask yourself a question: whether you are living your life right?

Most people dislike KOTOR's for the weak gameplay. Sure thing, a step-by-step fight system is severely outdated by today, but this game is not about fighting, this game is not about action. Both KOTOR's focus on whole different aspects. That being said, the first KOTOR is a story-adventure, and the second KOTOR is a story game which makes you question most of the things. It is a psychological game. It is a psychological book. The amount of dialogues in this game is immersive. If you will listen into every line, if you will experiment with the options and such, your walkthrough will be 100+ hours long. Don't you find the fact that the game from 2004 can pull this off amazing? Well, I do. And that's why this game is important to me.

It will always hold a special place in my heart for numerous reasons: it taught me a lot, it was an unforgettable experience, and some characters remind me of my friends strongly, which is... ironic, really.

This game was also unbelievably rushed, and was made within 13 months. Despite the game's scales, it has a lot of content which was cut, and I recommend to download a TSLRCM mod with M4-78 planet included from Steam Workshop. That way, you will experience the game's full potential.

10/10. A must-play for every true Star Wars fan! No argument there!

A game of many people's childhood, yet it seems to offer way less stuff than you originally thought.

Cars: Mater-National is a sequel to Cars: The Video Game which is a sequel to the very first Cars movie. It tells you about the International Championship which Lightning McQueen decided to hold, and Mater is going to be a reporter of everything that happens during the championship. Yet he is being dumb once again, and he forgets the word "International", and then comes up with Mater-National. Pure genius, no doubts in that. He even calls it so in his in-game quotes.

During the game you meet 6 various racers from different countries: Giovanni from Italy, Otto from Germany, Gudmund (Sven) from Sweden, Emma from England, Koji (Hiro) from Japan, and also Yuri from Russia who has no impact on the game's story at all. Every one of them has their unique personalities, and Otto was also voiced by Dee Bradley Baker! Klaus Heisler fish from American Dad, Clones from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and the list goes on.
Other actors also provide their greatest skills of voice-acting, so the characters feel very natural and interesting.

The game has all the locations from The Video Game, but they are way smaller than before: major parts of those were cut off in this game, so only the main streets were left almost untouched.
Also it has many mini-games, most of which are either hard or just boring, like Fuel Frenzy in which you need to race one of the tracks you completed before again, but now your fuel is limited and you need to refill yourself by collecting cans on the track, and on the hardest difficulty 4 or more laps are required for completion, also keep in mind those previous 3 laps of the usual race. The game is being stretched by that, and not in a good way.

The game itself though lacks cutscenes, there are very little of them compared to the previous game. So if Cars: The Video Game had a cutscene to every it's event - Mater-National has like 3-4 times less amount of cutscenes, so you need to use your imagination to complete the story line at some places.

The game's difficulty is also questionable: most races are very easy, even easier if you constantly use Powerslide technique for cornering. There are only a few races which can provide some hard time for you, like Rustbucket races or The Upper Mine, for example. But it's a kids game. so it ain't a bad thing.
Also the game's files are really easy to mod, so if you want to have fun - you just go into the game's files. That's also the reason why mods for this game exist, making you able to play as every character in the game, and those even port some content from The Video Game and Race-O-Rama respectively. Try it out if you want to experience more!

And also the game is a bug-festival. Texture conflicts, micro-freezes during quotes, buggy tracks, weak game-code - all of this leads to the game's frequent crashes. errors and various bugs, which sometimes are fun, but most of the time are annoying.

It's a good game to get for a couple of evenings, but not for it's full price, so you either get it for the nostalgia purposes and reimagined modding experience, or you get it just for the collection, or you are either buying this for your children, which is a really good idea, to be honest!

This game, despite all it's flaws, is my favorite amongst Cars games, I would give it 6/10.

It's a great, nostalgic game that brings you back to your childhood!

This game is also great for kids! It helps them to train their memory, reaction skills, and all other stuff that they need to train :D! And it also helps them to handle the PC's mouse as well!

And a little bonus - they can print a photo with their favourite characters and watch some movie clips!

Otherwise this isn't some special game, and it shouldn't cost 20$, that's for sure.

Conlclusion: Great game for a nostalgic run and for little kids. Otherwise - better you buy Mater-National or The Video Game.

If the game minimizes to your system's tray - read a guide i just published! It should help!
